"Please forgive me," he approached and caressed my cheek. "Come, I'll show you my room," he smiled, and we both went upstairs. There were symbols on the wall that I couldn't recognize, one of them caught my attention, it looked like a knot or an eight, I don't know. We walked down the hallway until we reached his room: the walls were navy blue, a large bed, a big television, furniture, books, clothes. Everything was normal. He had some paintings of landscapes, mostly forests, waterfalls, and lakes. It seemed like the kind of room for someone as strange as Kessler Walton, and what I liked the most was that it smelled like Kessler.
