Within minutes… The battlefield was silent. Only one immortal remained alive. A woman with silver wings. She fell to her knees before him. “Please,” she whispered. The ancient version of him stood over her. Seraphine expected cruelty. Rage. But instead He looked tired. “You shouldn’t have started this war.” The winged immortal whispered desperately. “You’re worse than death.” His answer came quietly. “No.” Then he raised his hand. “And you made me this way.” Darkness swallowed the sky. The vision shattered.

He was just standing in the sunlight, and Ravi squinted as he saw something gleaming in the man's hand. Ravi focused his vision further to ensure that the object the man held wasn't what he thought it was. The man's hand moved, still gazing, and Ravi's eyes widened when he could see clearly. Ravi froze, subconsciously gripping Raymond's wrist tightly. He saw a shimmering sword smeared with red liquid that was undoubtedly blood. But it didn't end there. Ravi froze further without realizing it, tightening his hold on Raymond's wrist as he observed the man's wings, which were white and almost identical to Raymond's. The wings flapped, and he flew away somewhere.

He wiped his mouth, shook off Luis’s grip, and stalked off down the corridor, cradling his side. Luis turned to Milo, nostrils flaring. “You. Office. Let’s go.” Milo wiped the blood from his mouth and didn’t argue. He followed Luis silently, fists still clenched, chest heaving. The fight was over. But the war they were walking into? Just heating up. Luis slammed the office door shut behind them. “The fuck is going on?” he barked, glaring at Milo. Milo wiped the blood from his mouth with the back of his hand. “Ozzy was following Raven.”

Aria had replied with a wide grin causing Sandra to scoff at her. "I know right? Look how cute my boy is" Frank lowered himself beside Daniel on the floor while Aria walked over to do same beside him too but that was after she threw Sandra a warning glare. What better way to mark her territory against the woman locking around like a demon from hell than to show her she was the angel of the house. Aria wasn't going to let that woman get away with whatever she was planning without a good fight. And not withstanding the sight for sore eyes before her, Sandra realized it was time to leave. Or better still retreat as she picked up her Denim hand bag before calling for her son.

He asks. “I only know about three, one in my wrist, behind my ear, and another in my hip, I probably have several more though.” “Well you should be okay here, the council knows about me but they're afraid of starting a war between angels and werewolves so they won't do anything too stupid.” “What happens if I get my wings again and they decide I am dangerous and important enough to start a war?” I ask and he lets out a heavy breath. “Then we can only hope they want you so bad for a reason. And use that reason against them."

Mane had just employed one of those many moves: Exploding Wings. Mane’s mumble was the trigger for the huge fiery wings that grew on his back. The wings were several dozens of meters long and several meters wide. When they appeared on Mane’s back they rose high into the sky, and flapped rapidly. Yet their beating didn’t lift Mane up or take him into the sky. With the beating of those wings, the cry of a Phoenix filled the ears of all who were here, and several large flames descended upon the retreating goblins, burning them all to a crisp. The fire was stronger, completely eliminating the goblins in less than a second.

Quinn looked up again, seeing one final explosion of black fire, and then one body fell to the ground. “I think we should move.”, Willow said, standing and walking away. Quinn saw why in time. There was another figure coming in fast, heading for the body on the floor. It streaked black flame, straight into the ground. It landed with a resounding boom, the shockwave flattening anything in the stadium’s radius. Míriel stepped out of the rubble, looking satisfied. “You sure showed her...” he trailed off, looking at her wings. He was pretty sure she had two wings before, what was the deal with the extra two? They retracted into her back as she walked towards him.

I questioned, my other hand joining on the material. It felt so strange, so bizarre, to touch his wings. To see something so out of my world. A weapon, possibly stronger than I thought, looking at the spikes. These were not just for flying. Both of his wings were weapons, fit for a king. "Do you want to find out?" Adrian smirked and a laugh escaped me, but it halted in my throat when I saw the near black eyes of Adrian on me.
