Things Slip Through

Things Slip Through

The slithering sounds swelled, accompanied once more by that throbbing voice, which evoked primordial fears as each unintelligible syllable pounded against Gavin’s brain, over and over . mene, mene, tekel upsahrin, mene, mene . . . “What is that?” The words slammed into him, turning his insides to jelly. He whirled on the boy, desperately shouting, “What is that?” The boy stood calm and still, and somehow his voice echoed above the chanting. “That’s the Other. It has many names. The Destroyer of Worlds. Eater of Light. Crawling Chaos.” Ice-cold fear filled his belly and his bladder twitched. “What does it want?”

Keeper Of A Warlord’s Heart

Keeper Of A Warlord’s Heart

Aefstine doesn’t know if he can be a good parent, or a good Dalli, but with Randal’s affection, Syteiner’s guidance, as well as everyone’s help, maybe, the future’s not that bad after all. "What will they name him?" "They were named after the Wolf Gods. Arnoux, Randal, and now, Alarick." "Alarick," Aefstine smiled, and it was hard to smile when you were trying to hold tears back... “Wolf ruler." "Good, good, you are learning."

Redeemed By My Lycan

Redeemed By My Lycan

Yagami then said, "your first war was a success, you are now a free woman and no longer bound by the chains of the dungeon, word would spread." Alex then came closer and asked, "what would you want your warrior and adventure name to be, say it now and let your name spread!" Almost all great warriors had their warrior name, it was usually given after the first war and become more established as the warrior keeps on fighting. We had the likes of, 'Darius the demon, Yagami the Light, and Gord the butcher! Lycan Flare and so on. I looked up and said, "I shall be known as Angelina: Angel of light," the whole crowd shouted, 'Angel of light!" That was my new title, while some called me flaring Ange

she said the words aloud. “That’s a stupid, superstitious name,” Lark was irritated. “We are the Order of Nexsis.” “The Order of Nexsis,” Meguitte repeated blankly. “Nyxsus is the One God’s true name,” Lark replied as if the answer was obvious. “Back when this world was young, the First Person was Nyxsus. From him, the Nyxsians were given life through his seed. But the Nyxsians wished to be gods and goddesses rather than worship Nyxsus as the One God, resulting in a great war. The Nyxsians, seeking to overthrow Nyxsus, created monsters and abominations, and in defence Nyxsus created the Nexsis, those that we call humans.”

Dawn
That’s the end of the 4th book in the series. Can’t wait for the next book “the rebels”. This has been a fantastic series & though the book spends a lot of time going back & forth into the past & present it allows for those who have not read the whole series so far to keep up. Well done Everleigh xx

No update yesterday-everything seems centered in the past. Aislan is pregnant she has 4 men that are too busy with each other to realize she’s gone and they should be raining hell on the trash that tortured them but she never shouldn’t been involved but all too concerned with sex with each other!

The Rogue Blessed Luna

The Rogue Blessed Luna

"These creatures have no souls, the poison that has been embedded into his bloodstream can not be reversed. He will die a slow death and he will suffer greatly." "No! There has to be a way," Mira cried out, "This can't be the end for him." She refused to believe the Alpha King. "You are a healer?" "I am." He stated firmly. "So heal him." "I'm sorry, but there are certain things more powerful than I am, and this is one of them. He was attacked by an Orakcilar, which in English is called a Reaper Of Death." "If he can not be saved, then what are we meant to do? Just wait until he dies?" She sneered, wiping the angry tears that tarnished her complexion with sorrow and disbelief.

"Let's get started properly, okay? What's your name? I am called Ink." "I don't have a name as I am just a small god, but I am called Doll by some." The no-fur searched the pretty ice-blue eyes of the Orangelo for malice. "It is a name I wish was mine but it is not. Not anymore if it ever was."

Blind Fate: The Beta's Regret

Blind Fate: The Beta's Regret

Ruin War-torn battlefields and the stench of death have been my home for centuries, carving scars on my soul that mirror the carnage I’ve witnessed—and caused. A creature of destruction, condemned to forever walk this earth. Before this lifetime they used to speak my name in whispers. I was known as Conquest, the rider on the white horse. The first Horsemen to signify the end times, but oh, how wrong they were. We’ve been here since the Gods created us; watching, waiting.

This novel is incredible and unique. Building on the Tarr universe, and bringing back the Horsemen, you will be left each chapter hanging for more. CJ and Ruin’s chemistry is palpable and the unique circumstances surrounding them have you cheering for them! Check out her other amazing work too!

Frequently Asked Questions

As a long-time Warhammer 40k fan, I've spent countless hours immersed in the lore and pronunciation of alien names. The key is understanding the linguistic quirks of each faction. For the Aeldari (formerly Eldar), names like 'Asurmen' (ah-SOOR-men) and 'Jain Zar' (JAYN ZAR) roll off the tongue with an elegant, almost melodic flow. The T'au names, such as 'Shas'o Kais' (SHAHS-oh KICE), follow a clipped, martial rhythm, reflecting their militarized society.

Ork names, like 'Ghazghkull Mag Uruk Thraka' (GAZZ-kull mag OO-rook THRA-kah), are deliberately harsh and guttural, mirroring their brutal nature. Tyranid designations, such as 'Hive Fleet Leviathan' (LEV-eye-uh-than), often draw from mythological or biblical references, pronounced with a sinister hiss. For the Necrons, names like 'Imotekh the Stormlord' (EE-mo-tek) carry an ancient, regal tone. The Warhammer 40k universe is vast, and mastering these pronunciations adds depth to the experience. Listening to audiobooks or watching lore videos can also help nail the nuances.
