The dragon howled in agony, its strength waning. Marcus knew he had to take advantage of the moment. Derek, recovering from his earlier blow, charged at the dragon once more. This time, he summoned his ancient vampire powers, commanding the shadows to envelop him. He materialized behind the dragon, slashing at its wings with his sharpened claws. The dragon's flight became erratic, and it crashed into buildings, causing chaos and destruction. Edna, watching the battle unfold, saw her opportunity. She retrieved her enchanted blade from her belt and ran towards the dragon.

Free falling from the sky, I couldn’t stop screaming. My arms flailed around as if trying to grab onto something, even if there was nothing to grab. Above me was a Dragon, galactic in size. He had to be as massive as a mountain. I had to admit that the Dragon was alluringly breathtaking. Luminous metallic purple scales cascaded over its entire form. Its wings arched slightly as they span across the sky. Its head turned down as it looked at me, with large radiant indigo eyes. When it redirected and started flying toward me, I stopped screaming and simply stared at the magnificent beast.

It was our birthday and a blood moon and tonight we’d be getting our dragons. “Are you two excited?” Rev asked as he turned in his seat and looked back at us. “Of course,” Chase said and I nodded. “What happens if we don’t get a violet dragon?” I asked and Lucas laughed. “Then I disown you,” he said and Rev laughed out loud. “Seriously Dad,” I said. “Then nothing, if neither of you get a violet dragon then you can’t take over as Sire one day, that’s all,” he said but I saw him gripping the steering wheel tighter.

From the shadows around his feet, creatures began to rise, twisted horrors of bone and smoke, their eyes glowing red, snarling as they circled the pair. Liam slashed one in half with a clean arc of his blade, while Elena summoned a blazing dragon of golden fire that swooped and incinerated three others at once. The battlefield transformed in seconds into a war zone. Lightning cracked through the sky as Kal launched himself at Liam, the two clashing in mid-air, blades meeting with a thunderous crash that shook the heavens. Elena lifted both hands, a radiant sigil forming above her, sending down a rain of light that turned the shadows into dust.

She doesn’t say anything but I can feel her recede into my mind. Five warlocks come racing towards us, before I can even do anything, Creed unleashes his dragon's breath on them. While they’re yelling in agony I take that chance to kill them. “We need to re-group!” I yell out towards Raya. Her brown wolf finishes off her kill before racing towards us.

The dragon let out a loud roar, and as Catori stared at him, she realised it to be the said dragon that attacked her that day down by the beach. The dragon swing its tail, hitting away those that seemed frozen in fear. There was a roar in the distance, as if responding to the cry of Chief Stone. "Shit is about to get real." Fang laughed before transforming. Just then, Lucian seemed to drop out of the sky. "Stone!" He yelled. His voice was so powerful that it caused the ground to crack. "It's time to die." He pointed at the dragon, then he turned to look at Rydstorm. "You better protect my daughter with all that you have boy, I have a score to settle."

Freja made her way to the Blacksmith, Zarek in tow. She had spotted a beautiful dagger set upon one of the shelves where the Blacksmith had placed ready to sell items. The blade was slender but wide enough to be of use, the handle being carved bone with a jewel inlaid at the top. Lovely swirls has been carved into the bone, each coming together to form the shape of a simplistic dragon. Ignoring the ache in her feet she almost ran to pick up the item before another did. “Wow, this is fine craftsmanship. What do you want it for?” She asked the Smithy, the soot covered balding man behind the anvil.

One short leaf's blade in either direction, and my fangs would have sliced through his throat. "P-please, I only bring a m-message." My tongue stopped; stepping back, I stood at least two heads taller than the dragon. Was this overkill? Maybe? But my potential mate was too close for his own good. The blade plunged into the breast of the beast. The dragon's breath turned into a screaming cry of agony. Black blood spilled from to wound as I withdrew my sword. The dragon slashed at me. I took to the air and zipped around as the dragon desperately flailed, trying to take me down. I felt like a gnat compared to this giant.

“They need you down there!” Pulling out two knives he rammed them deep into the base of the dragon's neck, the dragon roared and began to thrash violently, gripping the two knives Drago held on tight before retrieving his dragon crested blade and planted it into the centre of the two knives, gaining his balance, he pulled himself onto his feet and began pushing the dragon blade deeper into the back of the dragon, pulling it left and right widening the gaping wound. “Shreftwood!” Lengo called out and pointed to the dragon, Krona turned with Shreftwood “Someone’s up there!” Krona bellowed.
