Zane's sad eyes averted away when he saw us together and he turned his attention back to Dre, Samantha's Beta. They both were assassins and made one of the finest and funniest Alpha-Beta team here. "I wanna die instead,” Zane murmured, picking upon our conversation. "Stop being dramatic, Zane,” Dre said as he rolled his eyes and threw his helmet towards Zane, who caught it between his hands effortlessly. I was still pretty much mad at Zane for all the trouble he had caused, because of which we were having this duel in the first place and then still had the guts to harbor feelings for me.

Jareth moves first, grabbing Khaisha and Dane, forcing them apart before snarling, “On your knees. Now.” Dane shoots him a glare full of resentment, but even he knows he cannot challenge the beta. He drops to the floor and Khaisha follows a second later. As soon as they move, my line of sight clears. And if I wasn’t aware of my heartbeat before, I am now. I fucking am. My entire vision turns red and black dots swarm my sight as I focus on what’s in front of me. Nothing else exists beyond that. Someone is about to die.

I’m not sure if he really finds Death’s realm creepy or if he was just saying that, so I wouldn't want to go. I have to be honest. I don’t want to see where Death lives. I don’t think I will like it and I’m not for it. I’m happy to stay behind and take a hot shower. Zane can deal with Death. I wanted to go help my warrior but I could barely move. After he was done with him, he licked his lips again and started to approach me menacingly with an evil laugh. I knew that was my end. No one would save me now and I can't save myself now. "It really would be a pleasure to watch you die slowly and painfully dear Alpha Liam...hahahaha!" He said and laughed so loud. Like a maniac, his eyes looked bloodthirsty. I couldn't say anything as I watched him silently. It was even great that I died and was not able to face my pack after this battle. I probably would be crucified or demoted to an omega or something but all I know was that I can't face them after this.

Meredith wasn't sure if the Death Contract was enough to keep Brayden. What was she thinking? Keep Brayden? Meredith let out a breath she didn't know she was holding in. I watched the alpha as I was been floored ,a confused looked Suddenly came to his face and I could see the fear that broke out from his beta and alpha face . The Cain lash were not stopping and I could suddenly feel my eye lids becomin heavy ,at least I was going to die and see my mom ,at least shd doesn’t hate me and she eliding accept me while heartedly without any complain .
