Unlike all the other chairs, they were the same – elaborately carved wood on the chair's back and legs and a built-in soft cushion where the nobles placed their majestic buttocks.
"I hope you don't plan on sitting down there," the king said, looking toward Hector and the two girls. The tone in his voice was mirthful.
Hector smiled. "No, father, we are coming," he replied, and Donncha under the table clenched his fists.
To avoid Donncha, Hector preferred to go the opposite way, walk to the other end of the huge long table, and cross to the tables on the opposite side.
As Hector and the two girls approached, the king looked first at Skye and then at Maysie.
