“I just wasn’t going to stay in the pack any longer.”
He sat back and cocked an eyebrow. He didn’t respond immediately, which gave me an opportunity to look at him. He wasn’t nearly as attractive as Isaac. His features were less defined, and he had a buzz cut so short it was hard to tell the actual color of his hair. His beard, however, was a shade of brown. He was wearing a flannel shirt, and from what I could see from above the table, seemed tall. The man to his left was more slender with light features. Well kept hair and clean shaven, which was not the norm for a werewolf. But, he was not a werewolf.
