Anger slipped through my voice. Gerwulf's eyes turned black slowly and he turned his back to me beginning to pace. His arms and hands kept moving, sometimes rubbing his hands through his hair and other times pulling it. He was fighting with his wolf, whatever was being said was angering them both. I couldn't control my emotions for a moment. “I understand why you are confused and it’s reasonable that no one would let any wild creatures be with you. Especially when it’s threatening. She introduces him and I hear chairs scrape on the floor as they sit, and I hastily button my shirt. “Nice to meet you, and are you a…like Wills too?” He asks as I open the door, tucking my shirt into my pants and retaking my chair. “The term you are looking for is Wolfen or less popularly Werewolf. And yes, he is.” I say, retaking my seat. “So how many more of you are there?” Conall asks, leaning back to watching us closely with clear suspicion.

Lona's POV "Mate!" The man looked straight at me. Everyone looked at him in surprise, then followed his gaze. "Mate?" I asked reflexively. "Me?" I looked at him and then back at me. I was confused! Was he looking at me? Was he talking to me? I was a werewolf but lived in human society. For an ordinary werewolf, “mate” was a very important person but for me, “mate” was just a word that I knew through books and movies.
