What Is A Hollow In Bleach Novels & Stories

Kael was silent, his light dimmed to a faint pulse beneath his skin. They found a hollowed-out cavern beneath a jagged ridge, its entrance half-buried by snow. Inside, the air was still, heavy with the scent of old earth and iron. Aria pressed her palm to the stone, cold, but not dead. The Hollow pulsed faintly beneath it, a heartbeat far below the surface. “This place isn’t empty,” she whispered. Kael’s head turned toward her. His eyes glowed faintly in the dark, the gold dim but steady. “No,” he said. “But it’s listening.”

Evangeline swallowed, her throat raw. “The Outer Veil. We’re moving west, towards Aetherreach. The Hollow breached the inner sanctum less than an hour ago.” “I don’t even know what the Hollow is.” Evangeline’s chest tightened as Cassius met her unblinking and steady eyes “They are what was left when hope was ripped from something that used to be alive.” he replied, grumpily, as though forced to speak. "That’s not even an answer.” Evangeline blinked. “True, but it’s the only one that fits, goddess.” Selene shrugged.

The symbol inside the Hollow burned into my vision. The compass. My compass. Identical. For a moment, I forgot how to breathe. “That… can’t be possible,” I whispered. Yet the truth pulsed through the bond, undeniable. The Hollow wasn’t simply born from imbalance. It had once been balance itself. The creature roared, its massive body writhing as silver, gold, and white light clashed against the darkness surrounding it. Cracks spread across its form, revealing flashes of the same radiant energy glowing within me.

I had many questions that’s been running through my head. “Go on.” “How come this chambers has all these hidden secrets? How many chambers are here? Does another chamber breathe fire or manufacture stones or swords or?????.” “Calm down your majesty, I will answer all your questions. First of all, there are countless chambers in the hollow veil. Each holding a secret you ever imagine. Each chamber holds a unique piece of nature, which strengthens the hollow veil.” He explained and I nodded in understanding. I took off my clothes only left in my underwear and dived into the lake. I groaned in pure bliss, the lake really held unto its name—Bliss.

Anyone who was skilled in Ghastly Thirteen Needles would have capitalized on it already. This technique was a money-maker. “I said that I was familiar with it, but I never said I could execute it.” Kaze listed a bunch of terms callously. “Hollow Lock, Hollow Manor, Hollow Keep, Hollow Passage, Hollow Echo, Hollow Assembly, Hollow Cush, Hollow Core, Hollow Heart, Hollow Gait, Hollow Missive, Hollow Refuge, Hollow Vault, and Hollow Shadow.”

“You created this space, it is reacting to you.” She turned her full body to face Amelia, and gently reached for her hands. “We may be safe here, but for how long do you think this will hold? We are in The Hollow, a place of death and decay… where vile things wander endlessly in hunger for anything and everything alive, and the longer this space that is very much alive exists, it will attract more danger for us. You also cannot keep this space alive for long here because even Azazel will notice.” “Azazel?” Amelia’s brows furrowed deeply.

A sanctuary carved from ruin. A shelter breathing with forgotten power. A place that felt… awake. The air here always smelled of moss, damp stone, and something faintly metallic—like magic bleeding through the cracks. When the wind moved through the broken ceiling, it carried soft echoes, as though the Hollow remembered every secret ever whispered within its walls. Tonight, it felt charged. Listening. Moonlight filtered through gaps in the collapsed stone roof, bending around the vines and roots that clawed their way downward. The silver glow dusted the mossy floor, softening the ruin’s harsher edges, illuminating the ferns that grew in strange circular patterns only sacred places formed.

And then— My eyes caught it. A heading. “Hollow.” My heart thudded. I leaned closer. The first line read: Hollow: A power channeled from beyond the living. The air heavier. Elara?!

“That sounds daunting.” “It is. Luckily, most of them have been banished to Hell, and we can keep them there for the most part, but there are still portals, ways for them to escape, and there is one in Reaper’s Hollow, one we thought was dormant, even though it was used for centuries. It’s one we could never find. But after the situation right after the Revolutionary War, activity in the area seemed to die down, and we thought it was gone.” “The portal? To Hell?”

I swallow hard and close my eyes until the room steadies again. Where am I. The walls are concrete and bare. Old paint peeling in strips. There’s graffiti on one side, faded and layered, like people kept coming back here to leave pieces of themselves behind. Names. Symbols. Words I can’t fully read. Black Hollow. The name comes to me out of nowhere and my stomach drops.
