Coming to the bar that night with my cousins was a mistake, and I don’t know how I can undo this mistake. The next morning, I walked into the company building, trying my best to shake off the chaotic thoughts from last night. It was a new day, and I needed to focus—on work, on my goals, and on keeping my sanity intact. I wasn’t about to let him mess with my head anymore.

It had been exactly 24 hours since he had found Autumn in the meadow they met in years ago. She was still so beautiful. She looked older and like the weight of the world was on her shoulders. He could tell by the bags under her eyes that she wasn’t sleeping much. Her body was much more frail than he remembered. But she was still perfect to him and all he ever wanted.

"Yes, based on the Council, the blue sphere is there ever since 'Veneiah' [Creation/Beginning], protecting us from the scorching heat of the sun. Every time the night comes, it will thrum away, displaying the beautiful night sky." He explained as his hands met and slowly break apart, gesturing the word, 'Display'.

THE NEXT DAY MORNING Lily hummed as she stared at her husband’s face as he slept. She lifted her hand to his hair and played with it, she lifted the strands that fell on his face so she could get a clearer view of his face. A smile formed on her lips as memories of last night came flooding in. He was gentle and sweet with her, this time he was more concerned about her pleasure than his. She was surprised he wasn't awake before her, usually, he gets up first but she was awake before him this time. He must have been really exhausted.

The sun sinks into the western horizon. A reddish-orange colour filled the sky. Darkness was falling. Day turns to night. After a long day at work, people will return to their homes and meet their families and loved ones. Night can be a more pleasant time because it is only at night that most people can be themselves.
