Without a moment’s hesitation, Sean bought a plane ticket and flew straight to Alaska in the Sunland. The past few days without Eve had nearly driven him insane. "None of you can!" With an impossible burst of speed, he launched himself at the window. Glass shattered in a deafening crash as James broke through it, his triumphant, maddened howl echoing across the London skyline. Callum pulled me close, and through the broken window, we stared as James's dark form disappeared into the city below. The wind whipped through the office, carrying the scent of blood, and something worse-the stench of corrupted power. "This is my fault," I whispered, my hand finding Callum's.
