LUCIAN’s POV. My jaw tightened as I avoided his gaze. Dominick was about to go crazy and I could see it. The anger in his voice; the pain in his eyes. He wouldn’t mind ending me if you handed him a gun right now. But I couldn’t accept that fact, how could the moon goddess give me a human mate? Yes, I didn’t want a woman but then, how could Dominick be my mate? The same Dominick who didn’t like anything that stressed him out. How would I be able to cope with everything?

So, instead of waiting for them to fight amongst each other about who gets to kiss me first, I make up their minds for them. Cassian was the first one to recognise me as his mate, so I walk over to where he’s still seated on the couch and watch as he sucks in a breath when I approach him.

"MATE" Jasmina runs forward in delight and is caught in the arms of Alpha Rainer. The couple kisses as if their lives depended on it. Everyone is surprised at first to see this all happening. In Zane's arms, I look at the feisty warrior who has now turned into a love-sick pup. Glary is staring open-mouthed at the couple. "Wouldn't you rent a room yourself, Jasmina?" Zane reminds her dryly. He then turns to Alpha Rainer who stares adoringly at his mate.

Perhaps a heartfelt conversation or a shared moment of vulnerability would be the key. In my mind, I could see myself engaging Roman in deep, meaningful conversations. I'd listen to his concerns and share my own, making him feel understood and valued. It was a long shot, but I was willing to try anything. The more I thought about it, the more I realized that my tactics had been all wrong. Instead of trying to lure Roman into a false romance, I needed to connect with him on a genuine level. It would be a slow process, but I was prepared for the challenge.

Katie has come as a fairy and the girl looks good, I can see she's feeling shy but she has no reason to, I wish she could see how beautiful she is, inside and out.
