But as I turned, once again, his voice pulled me back.
“Tonight.”
I turned slowly, heart thudding. “What?”
“The real traitor will flee tonight.”
“Why tonight?” I demanded.
“Because they know your attention is on me now,” he said. “They think they have won. And once they leave the Citadel, you'll be unable to find them again.”
I stared at him, mind racing.
“Who is it?” I asked.
His lips twitched into something that looked too much like satisfaction. “You will have to figure that out. But you won’t have long.”
