Why Are We Here Na Novels & Stories

(ALEXA'S POV) "Do you know why?" I asked the room. It was completely silent. I stared at the tense faces looking back at me. "You lack training, vision, and motivation," I said flatly. "Can someone tell me why we are here? Why did you leave your beds, your partners, lied to a friend, a co-worker just to make it here, to this meeting?" A lady spoke up. "To end the Orchid?" she said hesitantly.

“So, we gathered everybody and we’ll be here with you guys if that’s okay?” “We got plenty of housing here.” I told them. “Make yourselves at home and we can hunt tonight for food for everybody.” “Perfect.” Briselle turned and whistled as loud as she could. There was about ten to fifteen SUVs out here. For some reason, I felt that this was still not enough. Naomi must had seen the look on my face because she laughed as soon as she turned to me. “Don’t worry; once we get the vampire alliance, we’ll be good.” Naomi said. “This was everybody that we could think of.”

She chuckled. I do? “We came here to apologise. For everything that has happened, that we did, in the past few days… If not weeks.” Dan sighed. They did? “Umm… I don’t understand…” I spoke unsurely as I looked between them. What the hell is going on? “We… I let the whole ‘being popular’ thing get to my head. I didn’t see what I was doing. I just wanted to be popular.” Paige explained. “Okay…” I still wasn’t sure what they came here for.

"At ako? Hindi ko alam kung hanggang kailan ako magiging masaya sa ganito, pero sanay na ako." "Do you know why we exist?" wika naman niya sabay tayo. Naglakad hanggang sa tapat ng bintana at namulsa. "It is to give people hope. To give them the impossible things the world can't give. We exist to help."

"Don't, don't even finish that sentence mom, yes, yes you told me but you're my mom and whether or not Olivia was my mate, you were supposed to be there". "I am the Luna I can't participate in an event that goes against everything I stand for"...she says as her eyes start to become watery

THIRD PERSON POV “What’s going on? Why are we here?” Nobody said anything and Naya was freaking out. Who was this old man who was staring at them like this? “Luke, say something! You guys are creeping me out! What the hell is going on?” “Relax, child. You're not at risk, if you were, you won't have made it here. I brought you here for a reason, the both of you and I hope we can discuss better.”

A young hybrid at the back of the circle wiped a tear from her cheek. “But we are not just here to fight,” Lena continued. “If all we wanted was blood and vengeance, we could have stayed in our separate corners, sharpened our claws, and charged blindly into Lilith’s territory to die as martyrs to old hatreds. That is not why I called you here. That is not what we are building.” She let the silence stretch for a moment, letting her words settle into the hearts of those who listened.

“[To the citizens of Aeternum, know this: our soldiers, our leaders, and our government are united in our cause. We fight not for conquest, but for liberation. We fight to bring light to a land that has known darkness for far too long. And we fight because we believe in a better future for all.]” As she reached the conclusion of her address, Elijah’s voice softened slightly, carrying a note of hope.
