Where did the blood come from? Slowly, I brought the rose to my nose and took a large whiff to ingest the scents. The rose itself had a strong aroma, a beautifully strong plant to mask the scent of the blood. However, I am not just human, nor am I just a wolf; my sense of smell should be strong enough to allow me to know or track down anyone who may be hurt. Allowing myself a moment to process the scent, mentally pushing aside the floral scent, but then another floral scent twisted in my nostrils, so sweet and delicious, almost like berries, followed by… a tang of citrus… it almost made my mouth water until—

The familiar smell of leather seats mixes with something sharper—sterile antiseptic and, beneath it all, the metallic tang of blood. Something always worsens after we cross paths—migraines, bleeding, something. I blink, leaning in closer to inspect the reflection. My stomach twists when I spot the whites of my eyes—no longer white, but clouded with a deep red hue. “What on earth?” I whisper, horrified.

Swallowing hard she got up and turned on the light looking for her cell phone, it was right next to the pillow, the worst was not this but the blood stains on the cover. - Damn. - Her nose didn't run with the normal secretion, this usually happens when she's been exposed to the sun for too long or when there's a change in the weather, but neither of these two things happened. She went into the bathroom and got a tissue, wiping her nose that was oozing blood without stopping. It was so much blood that she eventually gave up and went to the sink to wash her nose and drain it completely.

My anxiety doubles, and I find myself inhaling and exhaling sharply. “Dora, where are you?” Out of the blues my eyes turn, and I grab the wall for support. I feel a warm liquid pour from my nose, and I instinctively raise my head up, before raising hand towards the spot, checking with my fingers. I wipe, looking down at them, they are covered in blood, and I rush into the house. I rush to the bathroom, rinsing the blood away from my nose and wiping every stain that would give me away.

Bum-bum. Bum-bum. My nostrils flared as I smelt the air, the scent of roses and grapefruit filled my nose. The scent made my mind reel with this odd sense of recognition, but the urge to quench my thirst and numb the fire in my throat didn't allow it to come forward. I was running before I could register where I was, the monster in me taking complete control. Blood, blood, blood. I needed blood, and then I could think again. I could breathe again.

She sniffed the air, squinting when her nose caught the smell again. What could that be? Then... Her stomach feels weird, too. Is it because of the alcohol she took last night? She stopped suspiciously and sniffed the air again, then she noticed the weirdness between her legs. Why is it somehow sticky? Is her thighs sweating? She raised her lids in wonder, smelling the air again. This time, she recognized it. It's the smell of blood, but not just any blood. Menstrual blood! Her eyes widened madly.
