Why Do Vampires Have To Be Invited In Novels & Stories

This sacred gathering, held once every century, brought together the most esteemed and influential vampires from far and wide. Zoe's parents, who had dutifully served as respected members of the vampire community for centuries, knew that attending the ceremony was not merely a social obligation but a crucial opportunity to solidify alliances and discuss matters of great importance. Their presence was mandatory, for their absence would be noticed, scrutinized, and potentially provoke suspicion.

“He won’t come in unless one of you invite him. It’s some sort of vampire code, or whatever.” “Vampire?” I almost spit the word. “Hell! Are you joking?” “The vampires we dealt with before didn’t need an invite to enter,” Shen said suspiciously. “They should have waited for one,” Nandru offered politely. “It’s part of the code. True we can enter none-the-less, but I prefer to follow the codes set forth in order to set an example for my followers.” “You have more out there?” I said as I craned my head to see past him.

He reacts and hands me back the invitation like a psycho pulling his hair frustratedly. I heaved a sigh as soon as I read the whole details, the invitation was from my grandfather’s office, saying that I was invited. That ball is not just an ordinary winter ball, it is where the whole clan of vampires, wherever they are in the world, needs to attend because every vampire that isn't mated yet, needs to find their vampire mate in that ball. And I’m doomed, if that happens because if I don't find my mate in that ball, my grandfather will force me to marry a vampire woman who I didn’t know but he knows.

'Landon told me he thought it was strange'. 'And you do not know the answer to that?' he asked, somewhat surprised. She shook her head. 'I couldn't come in without being invited, even with the door open', he explained. 'The invitation is what gives vampires access, breaks down barriers and aids our entrance!' 'I see!' Alexa said, nodding. 'Well, goodnight again, she said, touching him lightly on the shoulder and smiling at him. He beamed. Alexa walked up to her door and he was still standing there looking after her. She waved at him again and rang the door bell.

she said, “I want to know if the rules of inviting a vampire in to your house apply in real life.” He looked at her with surprise. “You mean, do we have control over our victims and people who invite us in?” “Yeah,” she said looking up at him. “Not really,” he answered. “Some practice the hypnotic trance, but we can’t force people to do something they wouldn’t naturally do. Those of my kind who prefer fresh blood only use it to enhance intimacy between themselves and their blood donors.” Rose sighed. “That’s disappointing. I was going to ask about what happens when a vampire is invited into a fae’s house.”

This is getting stranger than I could divulge. "But who attended those meetings?" "Werewolves and vampires. That's why it's been nicknamed as the 'forbidden meeting'." "I know but who exactly?" "How do you expect me to know?" She hissed. I sighed, my thoughts pacing to Jaxon. I hadn't told anyone about Jaxon helping that vampire. He hadn't revealed to me why he did so nor give any kind of information to me about his strange and reclusive behaviour recently. This news of a strange meeting made me wander, was it possible Jaxon was an attendee of such a meeting?

“How can you enter without an invitation?” Kaze was taken aback. “An invitation?” The head of the Viper’s Den group was surprised. He was unaware that an invitation was necessary for the event. “Duh!” Cyan rolled her eyes and talked ahead of the Viper’s Den member. “The VIPs from the South River State and other neighboring states are here. Do you think just anyone can get in? “Why are you heading inside without an invite? Who do you think you are? “Don’t try to tag along with us again.”

Then it dawned on me that it wasn't red wine that everyone was sipping on, it wasn't wine at all, it was blood. This could not just not be an ordinary club. I paid attention and it looked like everyone was experiencing so much ecstacy, they didn't care what was going on around them. "Don't tell me that you brought me to a…" I said, I couldn't even complete the sentence "Yes Clara, this is a vampire club, humans come here voluntarily but strictly by invitation," he said. "My! I never thought that something like this even existed!" I exclaimed. "A few days ago you didn't know that vampires were real, now you do. I plan to show you so much more if only you'd let me," he said.

“Why does that matter?” Willis gave me a look like I’d just asked if fire was hot. His frown deepened with a kind of incredulous disbelief. “You didn’t know?” I shook my head. “For a Strigoi to enter a space, they have to be invited in by the rightful owner of that space. No invitation, no entry. They’ll just linger outside, waiting. Sometimes for hours. Sometimes days.” The idea of them hovering outside a window, silent and patient, made my skin crawl.

The man looked at Sharmaine, and she had become a true vampire. Sharmaine coldly said nothing. "Why did you show up?" "The vampire world wants to meet the vampire super-soldier family, the judge will also appear." "You will not be denied." The man left the invitation on the table, this meeting the family Augustus must attend. Sharmaine looked at the card in her hand Augustus. "They have to show up."
