POV: Xander Her name is Celia, and her wolf has the most beautiful name I’ve ever heard, Aurora. She is not my true mate, she is a lycan princess from another kingdom. We were friends from when we were cubs, and as we grew older, our parents saw it fit that we get mated to each other and create a lasting bond that would unite our two kingdoms forever. It was the perfect idea, and it certainly worked!

Aurora’s 18th birthday is approaching, and she will come home strong enough to defend herself. My status as the Witch Queen prevents me from taking an active role in the resistance. So I pretend to be an aid to the monarch. Only one person knows the truth, Frederick the seer. I have known him for a long time and trust him implicitly. He would have told everyone my secret by now if he had bad intentions.

--- Yuki's POV New hair. New me. Correction: New iconic hair. Even more iconic me. I stepped out of the salon, running a hand over my newly snow-white hair. The dull brown tresses that had yelled, "I pay taxes and cry before bed" were no more. I now looked like an anime heroine with a bad trauma record and a glitter habit. Short—perfect. "I look like a deadly elf," I gasped, peering at my reflection in a window. "A sexy, emotionally unstable elf queen.".

A young gnome asked from a tree not far away. “I love it here, but I do miss my family. The human world is so hard to deal with at times.” Xylia told him, her smile falling a little. What she didn’t see was a young elf watching her move through the field. The way flowers were growing around her feet. Fairies were landing on her shoulders to play with her long hair. Pixies sitting on her boots to act like her boots were dragons. “The princess stays here; she should.” A young brownie spoke up from his perch on a rock.

The world was a canvas of wonder, and the forest seemed to pulse with secrets. It was then that the Daryad fairy, a delicate ethereal being with wings adorned in glistening dewdrops, appeared before Ava. The fairy's presence was both enchanting and comforting, a guardian spirit in the moonlit haven. Daryad's voice, like the gentle rustle of leaves in a breeze, spoke of destiny woven into the fabric of nature.

Xienma, Xavier, and Cassie stood in the center of this enchanted realm, their hearts pounding with a mix of excitement and trepidation. Xienma's eyes widened as she took in the sight of the creatures around them. Unicorns grazed peacefully on lush, vibrant grass, their manes shimmering with iridescent hues. Phoenixes soared through the sky, their feathers leaving trails of fire and light. Xienma felt a surge of awe and wonder, her connection to the ancient magic within her growing stronger with each passing moment.

Tears filled her eyes as she tried to take them in. Aidan rested his hands helplessly on the pillar in front of him. "This isn't just about being the fairy mother, if...if" Aidan stammered. "If the wolves were to find out we'd be damned," Peri cut in. Both Peri and her advisor Aidan were worried and they assured themselves to just let it be a secret as they appoint her youngest daughter, Saria, as the Fairy mother. "Mother!" A young fairy was approaching. Saria was a fine young fairy with eyes like sunlight and hair blonde. She was slim-built and considerably tall for someone her age.

He joined the two in their conversation. “you two are the only ones that are going to restore fairyland you have the power and you have each other, the task is now greater especially now that they have seen what you can do Stacey. You have to deal diligently with them and at the same time make sure that new earth is made for the humans to be separated from the fairies who should never come closer to them again. The imbalance should not continue.” Queen Fiona the third said before vanishing.

Fiona I had just gotten off the phone with Roxanne, and was staring blankly at my phone screen as it laid on my desk, eagerly awaiting a call from Levi. Roxanne and I have become closer since she became the princess of the air fairies, and next in line to be the Queen, thanks to Cerulean getting her pregnant. We're as similar as we are different. Roxanne was the lead warrior of Moon Rain. Wait, no, they changed their name recently. What was it .... Gypsy ..... Gypsy Night? Gypsy Sky? That's it! Gypsy Rain. Anyway, she was their lead warrior for a few years, and now she's stuck in the same boat as me. Pretending to be more of a princess than she is so that the council won't become suspicious.

My magic will not spare them if they declare war against us; that much is obvious now. Since the forest of the Nightwalker Pack was less than a hundred miles away from the Mystic Sisters Coven and the expanded forest reserve we acquired, we moved half the population of gnomes and fairies there, but they are all free to travel back and forth as they choose. Belle, Gale, and Peony are the most active and friendliest fairies we have, and most gossipy too. They make my job easier; they talk to everyone, flying around the forest and beneath the ground like ambassadors of peace. If their reports are accurate, we might expect Unicorns and Phoenixes to join us soon.
