KISS OF HIS BETRAYAL
My stomach twisted with nerves, but my eyes widened at the sight before me.
The pathway was a dream. Rose petals scattered across the ground, orchids and hydrangeas arranged in delicate clusters along the edges. Above me, colorful wisteria hung from the roof, cascading like waterfalls of blossoms. The air was perfumed with their fragrance, sweet and intoxicating, almost dizzying.
It was beautiful.
Too beautiful.
The pathway led me to a grand door — tall, carved with intricate designs that gleamed under the lantern light. My heart pounded as I stood before it, the weight of satin and pearls pressing down on me, the bracelet on my wrist a silent reminder.
