I saw a wolf, but this wolf was unlike any I've ever seen. Its fur was pure white, and it was glowing. Its eyes were like galaxies, swirling with stars and cosmic dust. I stumbled back, my mouth hanging open. "What... who are you?" The celestial wolf tilted its head, regarding me with those impossible eyes. "I am many things, Lyra of the Black Moon Pack. Guardian of knowledge. Keeper of secrets. Some have called me the First Wolf, though that name is not entirely accurate." I swallowed hard, trying to process what I was seeing. "Are you... a god?"

Frank Kilburn, Alpha of the Vagas Moon Pack, fumed because for hours now his wolves tried to find some proof that he could use to push the Twilight Wolf Pack and their annoying leader out of a region before they discovered what he was doing. He needed the white wolf back, too.

They didn't stop though, they kept riding hard on their horses away from the fortress. Just before they got to the Blade lake river, they heard the howl once more and a big black wolf leaped out of the woods, the wolf ripped off the head of one of the guards and disappeared into the woods again- leaving the guard headless on the floor with his horse running off into the dark. They didn't stop riding hard, they kept fleeing while shooting arrows in every direction- hoping to hit the strange beast with their arrows.

She stood still, trying to resist the force but it overwhelmed her and forced her to the ground. "Arrrhh!" She roared as she changed into a Witch-Wolf, as huge as a bear. She jumped around with force, sniffing around her. Some men were sitting at a corner, drinking from some bottles on the floor. They were speaking gibberish as they nodded their head from left to right in rhythm to music playing from a Small stereo. "What is that thing by the corner of the road?" One of them asked with squinting eyes, pointing at a creature by the road.

The fear screaming from her eyes of the unknown would scar my soul for eternity. In a matter of minutes, a lovely white wolf lay in a puddle of blood and plasma. Esme panted heavily. Her eyes were wary but on mine. “You’re okay, Esmerelda.” A noise from the edge of my property made me look past her. The whole pack stood like sentries watching my mate. Cyrus, the largest grey wolf, stepped towards us and bent his head, revering our newest member.

“Of course, you know how being a late bloomer sucks the life out of you. What makes this new?” “It’s getting worse. And If care is not taken, anything might happen. She is worried sick about what it might mean. You know what I mean, being without a wolf for the rest of your life. If she is unable to shift and find her mate before the Carmella, she would be banished or married off to churn up hybrids for some Western beast” “It doesn’t mean shit. She only reads too much into things. She should wait. I know how it feels, I felt the same way while waiting for that beast of a man. Remember?’’
