MY TWIN ALPHA'S
We pushed forward, room by room, the facility opening up into a labyrinth of cells and chambers, the hum of generators growing louder.
As we cleared a corridor, side doors hissed open, revealing rows of cells behind reinforced glass and bars. My heart stopped. Dozens of wolves chained inside, emaciated and broken, fur matted with blood and filth, eyes dull and lifeless. They didn't even lift their heads as we approached, no spark of hope, no fight left. Some bore old scars from experiments, limbs twisted unnaturally, others injected with the same black serum that turned eyes pitch black. They were prisoners, test subjects, wolves long missing or thought dead.
