“I just remember being in a house and the smell of pine. I… feel like I’ve been here before. Maybe not this part of the forest, but there are other parts, aren’t there?” He nodded. “The White Moon pack was comprised of a lot of families that were scattered all over the mountain range.” “White Moon,” Duke whispered. “The fallen pack? I don’t know…” “You were either a member or a member of a rogue family that lived in this forest. Both were pretty common.” His lips smiled. “And given the Moon Goddess’ interest in you, it’s highly likely.” “Why?” “The White Moon territory was well known as the throne of the Moon Goddess. Bringing you here, even in your mind, is a ploy to bolster her ego,” he gr

I walked back over to my seat, leaning my elbows down on my knee. “Okay, I am listening,” I say wiping my hand down my face. “The moon goddess told your mother that your sister would need a strong and powerful mate to help protect her from the evil that would try to use her, to stand by her side.” He began to explain, “Her mate would be the future Alpha of her pack. Alone they are strong but together, they will be able to stop the evil forces that will becoming for our world. These rouge attacks aren’t random, they are looking for the Moon’s Luna, the wolf blessed by the moon goddess herself. I said, laughing disdainfully, “I will take revenge on you, tear you to pieces!” Rowan grinned, saying mockingly, “I look forward to your return, your majesty!” As soon as his words fell off his mouth, his arm swiftly and accurately pierced my chest, precisely digging out my heart. Blooms of blood appeared on the bed sheet, like some kind of cruel artwork. “Moon Goddess, please give me a chance to be reborn!” I silently pleaded, just before my heart was harvested. At this moment, the dazzling full moon suddenly emitted a blinding white light.

“You don’t change until the first full moon after your 17th birthday. However some of us will start to have some minor changes before. Better hearing, better eyesight, better sense of smell, craving meat more, wanting to be outdoors all the time. Things like that. The first time you turn it is very painful. You have no control over it and it will happen faster if you are directly in the moon light, but it will happen even if it is cloudy. It just takes longer.” Amaris took a moment to absorb all this. Then it dawned on her. “Tonight is the full moon!” Amaris burst out standing up. Anna came over to put her arm around Amaris’ shoulders and sat her down once more. “Now you know why I have been

That thing should be celebrated, but her mother saw it in a different light. “Maybe your mother was just surprised by the news. Let’s wait until everything sinks into her.” He planted a kiss on her temple and pulled away. Sebastian cupped her cheeks. “This is our miracle, my love. And no matter what happens, we will celebrate her life….” Irma nodded her head and kissed him on the lips. “WHY is the moon like that, Mother?” Luna asked as she looked up into the sky. A smile curved on Irma’s lips as she watched her child staring at the moon with so much fascination in her eyes.

Xavier clasped his arms behind him waiting for an answer. "Hmmm" Stone mumbled as he gently massaged his jaw. "I see what you have there, but there's a problem" Xavier arched his brow at Stone trying to figure out what the problem might be. "Moon works with no one. He is a one-man squad. I will notify him of the situation, but you can continue with your search party while he's on his." He gestured to the girls to continue their massage and immediately Xavier let out a slight bow and took his leave.

But every year, on the night of the brightest full moon, they have a grand feast with lots of singing, dancing and drinking. The tiny coincidence seemed to encourage my secret mission: mend the relationship between Cole and the Moon Goddess. Since that day by the waterfall, my mind often drifted back to the pain I saw in Cole's eyes; somehow, I felt responsible.

With a promise of loyalty, he was serving till then. The Dark Moon Pack is known for its ferocious and aggressive nature. Every single member of the pack is intolerant of any sort of disloyalty. They are known for the merciless punishment that they give to every single traitor they find. "We have waited enough just by thinking to settle the matter without a war. Every single rogue will be killed after torturing them and every single person would go through the same pain who has ever helped a rogue." Leonard's one statement followed by his wolf's growl shook every single corner of the wood violently. The popping vein on his forehead and the bulging nerves made it clear that he won't stop unti
