Wood Kingdom Moons Novels & Stories

The silver moon hangs perfectly and brightly over the sacred forest and gives it a wonderful glow through the old oak outside. Aria clings to the rough bark of a large tree at the end of the ritual, her ribs piercing her heart like a longing for freedom. The Moon ritual - the holiest night in her group’s calendar - takes place before her and is full of mysterious glory.

My chest tightens. “Then what?” The clearing feels like it leans in. Not physically. Something else. “Something older,” he says. The word presses against me. Older. “How old?” I push. His gaze sharpens slightly. “Older than Luna Queens.” My stomach drops a little. “Older than wolves.” The air feels heavier now. Not thick. Aware. I don’t realize I’ve stopped breathing properly until I force air back into my lungs. “The Moon,” I say slowly. “You’re saying it’s stronger than the Moon?”

The Blackwood Keep had survived centuries of border wars and internal coups, but it had never faced an enemy that sought to erase its very existence. The Blood-Moon army did not use ladders or rams. They used "Lunar Rot," a dark alchemy that made the stone walls of the keep turn soft and porous, as if the buildings themselves were losing their will to stand.

"Why did she…" "Because of me. Because of what I did to you." My stomach dropped. "What you did to me?" He stood. Paced. Ran a hand through his hair. For the first time since I'd known him, Lucien Blackwood looked uncertain. "The night you came here. The full moon. I wasn't in control. My wolf was too close to the surface and you…" He stopped. "You calmed something I've never been able to control. And when we were together, something happened that I didn't intend."

"Oh? And where is that?" "No kingdoms. No councils. No warriors." She smiled up at him. "Just us?" "And Aiden. And Leo, of course," he added with a grin. She laughed softly, shaking her head. "I was wondering how long it would take before you included them." Killian's expression softened as he looked out at his son and the spirit wolf. "I can't imagine a single day of my life without them." As total darkness covered the kingdom, the Moon Tree suddenly pulsed with a vibrant wave of energy. A brilliant silver light rapidly spread across its ancient roots, illuminating the entire garden. Leo jumped to his feet, his silver eyes glowing with sudden, intense clarity. *I remember!*

The next evening, I went to the Ravenwood night market alone. The downtown street outside the packhouse had been closed for the full-moon fair. Food trucks lined both sides of the road, neon signs glowed in storefront windows, and young wolves gathered around the training square where blue moonfire burned in metal drums. Moonfire was a ceremonial flame made from silver-pine resin and moon oil. It burned bright and beautiful, hot enough to scar if someone got careless, but it wouldn’t kill a wolf the way wolfsbane would. In our pack, an Alpha danced through the moonfire before choosing his Luna. It was old-fashioned, a little reckless, and ridiculously romantic. In my last life, Kyle had lear

She needed to be kept under control, if she shifted into that wolf then it would be even more difficult to keep my secret. All this because of her pathetic excuse of a mother. If she had not given birth then I would not have wasted so much of my time and energy on keeping quiet. The moon goddess had blessed me with my son, I did not need a daughter out of wedlock. Especially with someone who was just the pack hoare. The day she died was certainly a good day for me. My beautiful Luna would never know about my affair with the hoare. Elora was a mistake but I did not believe in killing pups in my pack. Of course being known as an unmated hoare, nobody questioned who her father was because nobod

Although with different spelling, but with the same pronunciation. Carra didn't know whether to feel lucky or sad. She was now in a country known as Morica in a medieval earth, under the Athurian empire. The Athurias are the ruling clan of lycans, wolf shapeshifters. In this world, there were humans, lycans, vampires and others. It seemed that she had passed through something supernatural, a portal or so, to arrive here. For a person who didn't believe in such notions, it was a bit difficult to accept. A woman in a brown garment came in through the door carrying a basin of water. She heard the young mistress called green bamboo, and she too quickly took a few steps forward. Seeing Carra awak

She asks me. "Yes.", I say. What if she knows more about me? "Okay. So listen carefully. They say that God put a curse on the bad people. He made half of them slaves to the sun and the other half slaves to the moon. The witches were created to keep the balance on earth. They cast spells and were neutral until they divided. Some began to help the vampires with their weakness to the sun, and some helped the wolves. ", she said. "Do you know how wolves turn?" I asked her, already knowing quite a bit about the vampires as Drew and I searched libraries for Charlie's book.

I don't have time for a mate. "Welcome everyone to our Red Moon Festival. Please make yourselves comfortable. The run will start in approximately 10 minutes! We will meet back here after the run and announce any mated couples should you be so lucky to find the other half of your soul bestowed upon you by the Moon Goddess herself! Let's have a fun run everyone!" I finish speaking loudly to the giant crowd as I meet the other Alpha's and Luna at the bottom of the stairs.
