I saw someone so familiar, their hair looked rough and wild, like something that came straight out from a horror movie and their eyes looked so wild, like only the white part of their eyes was visible, rolled back in a way that made my stomach turn.

The hairs on my arms stood on end. I lifted my head, my eyes locking onto the distant horizon. A unnatural coldness rushed in, snaking its way down my spine. The sun was gone, swallowed by a predatory darkness. I stumbled backward, my book tumbling from my numb hands. From the creeping shadows in the lower city, unearthly shrieks erupted. My fingers dug into the cool stone of the balcony railing. Plumes of acrid smoke began to rise. Violent orange flames broke out, consuming building after building in a matter of heartbeats.

When I looked back, I found an older woman holding a hoe. Her thick, long hair hung straight down and brushed the ground. It looked extremely unusual. At that moment, I realized that the safe zone had shrunk, and I was standing in a danger zone. “It’s the middle of the night. What are you doing out here instead of sleeping?” The ghoul lady looked straight at me. I watched as her black hair floated and got close to winding around my neck. My throat was parched. It was a natural fear response. Shaking, I raised the eggs and greens in my hands.

Becca leaned towards him and whispered in his ear after standing on her toes to reach his height as much as possible, “Whatever I am going to tell you, please keep this a secret.” “Okay,” he mumbled, his breath hitching. How can I breathe when my heart is dead? he thought to himself, wanting to stay away from Becca. “I am a writer. I love writing novels, especially paranormal and fantasy ones. My first novel is a Lycan-romance which I finished writing recently.” Her eyes lit up at the mention of her novel. “I was looking for a new novel idea, and you just gave me one.” “Which is…?” he inquired.

I'm not a robber or a thief, I have nothing to fear. I also let this problem, and consider it a normal thing that should be ignored. I started to open the laptop and write a new novel script.
