He was fast. Faster than I thought a wolf this large could be, and I thought he could almost beat me in a race. In peak condition, I was one of the fastest in the pack, and that was only because I pushed myself so hard. It seemed like Luxe didn't even have to exert himself to keep up the pace. He moved with pantherish grace, leaping over shrubs and low hanging branches with ease. My hair ruffled in the breeze and I was tempted to let go of Luxe's fur and stretch my arms to either side of me.
