However, only his face did return to a neutral colour when he saw the little girl's eyes flutter open. His once lifeless eyes lit up with relief. “Finally.”

I could only coldly look at him and shrugged his hands from my arms and walk towards the yellow people. "Bold, are you? "Their leader walked forward and stared right into my eyes. I don’t know what we were doing but I only go with flow and never took my eyes from her. I don't know if it's just me, but the longer I stare at her eyes, I can see it glow yellow. Moments later, her eyebrows suddenly rose. In surprise, maybe? Because as she step backwards, she acted like she couldn’t believe what she was saying either. “They’re humans. The cover had three men, two of them with deep scolding looks. One had albinism while the other was red-haired. The one in the middle looked younger and less hostile. I tried to read. I really did. But the same line kept repeating in my head while my eyes skimmed over the page. Maybe you like the way I make you nervous. I groaned quietly and flipped the book closed, covering my face with it. "This is ridiculous," I muttered. Yet somehow… the corner of my lips lifted again. And before I knew it, my thoughts drifted once more- Back to his voice. Back to that smirk. Back to Jade.
