The driver had his eyes trained on her since she was the only one standing outside as if she was waiting for someone. She raised a finger in the air, asking him to give her a minute while she cross checked the number plate from the app she used to book the car. Once she was done with matching the car model and the number plate, she hopped inside the back. She greeted the driver just as her phone pinged. 'I can still send you a driver if you'd just wait half an hour for him to get there.' She didn't even have to look at the sender's ID to tell who it was.

I give in because the driver remains stern with his words, and he seems like he knows what he's saying. I really hope he does. He turns through the nearby grass and drives out of the private environment we drove into. When we finally slowed, the headlights swept over a gated entrance. The driver leaned out to punch in a code, and the heavy iron gates swung open with a grinding creak.

But take a driver with you instead of driving yourself.] I let out a heavy sigh, glancing back at the young driver who had offered. "Alright, let’s go." He nods quickly, moving to open the car door for me. As I slide into the passenger seat, I grip my phone tightly, my mind still buzzing with irritation.
