Maybe it's even more stunning than this ruby. "How'd you sleep last night, Charles?" Butcher asked, coming out of the lounge and strolling over to his desk. "Not bad." I felt like he was going to say some more nonsense, and I didn't want to waste any more time, so I cut to the chase. "Let's go straight to the mining." "Well, that's what we're here for," Butcher said slowly, taking two mugs from the cupboard behind him and making coffee. “The mine is on Red Rock Mountain. Oh, you can see it from here. It's the highest peak in the southwest.” Butcher handed me a cup of coffee.

Only the Qusayr can actually mine these because their the only ones who know where to find it. Lol, just thought I'd remind you guys. Also, Ramadhan Mubarak to my fellow muslim readers! Enjoy!

She might just wake the dead. We ran towards the mine, keeping low. I didn’t see any guards about, and it was quiet. Too quiet. ‘I don’t like this.’ Ray linked. ‘Where are the guys?’ ‘I’ve tried linking them, but I came up blank.’ It could be the silver deposits that remained in the mine blocking us.

Then the pieces began to fall into place so quickly it made my head spin. “And we have one,” I said slowly, my voice rising with realization. “No… not just one. A mine.” My eyes widened. “There’s a Geira mine near the lake. It’s in the older records—restricted files. I catalogued them last month.” Damon nodded once. “Exactly.” A strange mix of disbelief and adrenaline surged through me. “So… we use that?” “As leverage,” he confirmed. “We offer access to the mine in exchange for their help.”

I touch it like I will get the old me back but I guess that will never happen. “Overseas, got stuck in cartel base.” Her eyes widen. “What?” The door creaks open and a very pregnant Maya enters holding bags of groceries. She looks ten times larger and I can't help but chuckle at how adorable she looks. “Maya you have a visitor,” the mum announces. She looks at me, her eyes widening. I trudge towards her pulling her in my arms before she says something stupid. “It's me Cassian,” I whisper.

"Sorry" he quickly took the glass with water with cheeks flushed. "What is your name? "he asked, leaning on the desk. "Luke Risco Miller, sir said after a few seconds, And yours? "You do not know what my name is? I feel in prehistory " he laughed shaking his head" Nathan Jackson . "Nice name, How old are you?" If I was going to be there, I had to do some kind of conversation.

ELENA POV As we reached the mine, we heard the sound of our footsteps crunching over debris. The entrance, once solid, was a mess of broken beams and cracked stone. Dust clung to the air, making it hard to breathe. The walls were scarred with deep gouges running along the sides where the rock had given way. Fallen boulders blocked paths that had once been clear, and twisted metal tracks lay scattered, torn from their place. Abandoned carts, tipped over and spilling their contents, dotted the ground. The place felt hollow and lifeless, as if all the energy had been sucked away, leaving only the remnants of chaos.

Low murmurs broke out between wolves as I passed them. I caught the words "slut" and "whore" as I walked. I simply ignored them. Thankfully, Crescent Moon had trained me to have thick skin. As I approached the mail room, I caught sight of a beehive hanging from one of the trees outside. Someone should really do something about that. It could easily be a hazard. I shook my head and stepped into the mail room, where a familiar pair of girls turned toward me. Gina and Jenette Jones, or Jay for short.

I asked casually. Ryan tilted his body to face me. “Is there anything you want to know?” “Anything?” He nodded. My brow quirked. I could think of a few things but I also did not want to pry or worse, ask him anything that would make him run away.. “Let’s take a rain check on that. I will save my question for something more important. As for the mines…” I lowered my voice to a whisper. “They have magic ore. All the different kinds all the way up to platinum.”
