Zayn Malik One Shot Novels & Stories

"Background check. Financial records. Any connection to Harrington." She closed her eyes. The sedative had worn off, but exhaustion pulled at her bones. Sleep hovered at the edges of her consciousness, fuzzy and inviting. She did not fight it. --- The beach returned. Same sunset. Same sand. Same waves crashing in the distance. But this time, she stood apart from herself – watching from above as her younger self said yes to Damien's proposal. The ring slid onto her finger. The tears fell. The kiss lasted longer than she remembered. Then she turned.

ZAYN I got closer, only to be met with a douchebag trying to force himself on a girl. I instantly saw red as she pleaded for him to let her go, a slight tremble in her voice but he didn't budge. “What part of let her go don't you fucking understand!” I rushed to him, throwing a punch right at his face to get him off her. He fell to the ground like a spineless piece of shit. I was expecting him to stand up and charge at me but he laid there on the ground like a pussy holding on to his broken nose.

His fingers lingered longer than necessary around my cleavage. And just like that, my mind betrayed me. I thought about that night in Miami. His hands on my body. The way he touched me, he knew exactly what he was doing. I snapped out of it quickly and focused on the camera. The shoot went on for hours. Pose after pose. Smile after smile. But my mind kept drifting back to him. To the way he looked at me. Finally, it ended. Jay held my hand as we stepped out. I could hear the whispers behind us. People talking, watching, guessing.

Everyone around was now looking at us and some even began to record. ‘What in the world is going on?’ I thought to myself as I watched Zayn. He took a small fancy box from his back pocket and walked over to me. He knelt on one knee and spoke with tears glistening in his eyes, “Lara Elizabeth Zane, would you marry me?”

He placed down a salt shaker and two lemon slices. "Bottoms up," I shouted as we took our shots. We both screamed as we took the last shot. Slamming the shot glasses on the counter. The alcohol was already working its way through my body, warmth pooling in my stomach. Savage Love by Jason Derulo started playing, and Sullivan and I shouted in excitement. We ran out onto the dance floor and let the music guide our souls.
