I had just left girl's night with the girls. It had been a minute. We all been so busy in our everyday lives, that we rarely had time to catch up. Kita and her man has broken up. That shocked me. He was always good to her. Hardworking man. He worshipped the ground she walked on. She said she needed some time to herself. I don't believe that for a minute. She was gone end up telling me sooner or later. My girl couldn't hold water.

Definitely not a sign that I wanted to prolong the interaction. “I remember,” Julien said. “Julien.” “I remember,” I echoed. We shared a brief smile, the kind that lingered just long enough to feel like something. “So,” he said, clearing his throat. “France for the holidays?” “Yes,” I said. “France for the holidays.” “Alone?” I nodded. “By choice. I have never conspired to hurt your pack, or anyone else’s for that matter, in fact I was perfectly happy before you brought me here to begin with.” I said, my voice low and unwavering. “I am on my own because I was not wanted, it’s as simple as that. There is no ulterior motive going on here. So whatever you’re looking for, you won’t find it, it doesn’t exist.” I finished my speech and stormed out before Julius could reply.

Her heart was already captured by someone else, though she had kept it a secret. “Hmm.” Clair replied, not taking much interest in it. “I think Isla has a hopeless crush on him.” Sienna teased, making Clair laugh. “Yeah. Maybe I do. “ she admitted. “Well, you have Gerald and I’m single.” Isla replied, naming Sienna’s boyfriend with whom she had been going straight for more than a year. “Yeah. And our Clair has....?” Sienna asked. Clair laughed and shrugged. “I have my son. I am a single mother, remember?” she pointed out.

I don't want to have any connection with Travis anymore. *******
