He disappeared from view, the smoke filling the room like a suffocating fog. Selena's eyes flashed, her fists clenching as she summoned her shadows. The moment Shane disappeared, she shifted her stance. She could feel the smoke—its weight, its oppressive presence—and she was not about to let him win. She reached into the very fabric of the shadows, drawing them closer, tightening them. She formed a sharp spear-like weapon of darkness and lunged forward, slashing it into the thick fog. "Where are you hiding now?" she growled, her breath coming in controlled bursts as she fought the suffocating darkness around her. The shadows surged in a wave, pulling the smoke apart.

I answered. “I would use that ability and pay close attention to her scent. Since she is a dark angel, it is possible that your pup could be a rare metallic angel. It is written that the only other two documented dark angels gave birth to children that bore powers associated with metals. One was said to have wings that were golden in color and that the child was able to control all things made from gold. The other child was said to have wings that were dark grey but then faded to silver at the tips. This child could control multiple different metals.” Eivor explained.

The witches closed in, their laughter echoing like a chorus of nightmares. Something inside Aqua snapped. A surge of dark energy, unfamiliar and terrifying, welled up within her. She felt her pendant grow hot against her skin, the clear crystal turning black as smoke. The air around her crackled with raw power as she turned back towards the attackers, her fear morphing into a blinding rage.

As they stepped into the cool, damp air of the night, the rain had transformed into a light drizzle, misting the surroundings in a haze.
