Rayvn’s POV

I can't lie, the party was on fire. And I didn't wanna leave.

I met a few old customers, and made a few new ones.

I'd always heard that corporate men made the best clients, and I wasn't gonna let the opportunity pass me by.

“You look out of place.” A man who looked in his late fifties commented, sneaking up on me from behind.

“And you look like I've seen you before.” I said.

“Smart mouth. I like girls like you.” He smiled wider, letting more alcohol laced air fill up the space.

“I don't know what you mean.” I said. “It's not a quip or anything. I've met you before.” I affirmed.

He quickly closed the distance between us, looking around like a thief, or like he was expecting a ghost to pop out.

“You have to lower your voice when you're at gatherings like this. I know it's strange to you.” He snickered.
