22- Surprise Stay

The glass flew from my hands, water getting splashed on the Edge’s face. My eyes shot up in surprise and I took a step back immediately.

“I am sorry!” I gasped with my hand over my mouth.

Edge strode to the dining table with a dark face and snatched some tissues to wipe his face.

I tried so hard to control my laughter that my entire face turned red.

“What the fuck are you still doing here?!” he barked.

I opened my mouth to mention the annulment again, but after taking another glance at Edge’s face, I decided that this probably might not be a good time to raise that subject. Pursing my lips tight, I sidestepped him and tried to walk out of the pack house.

I had taken just a few steps when a hand snatched me back. I winced as his fingers pressed on the wound on my elbow. Even though I had put a band aid, the scratch was still deep and raw.
