Emily’s POV:
Those four students, all in black elegant dressing, turned around to see me. I looked at them and gulped, adoring how handsome and stunning those students were. The one on the front is hunky and drop dead gorgeous. He has chocolate brown hair and a warm fair skin with shining dark brown eyes. He is muscular and seemed strong. He is the most prepossessing man I have ever seen in my life. I couldn’t resist but look at him constantly.
“Talking to me?” The gorgeous one said. I wasn’t in my senses then and didn’t reply.
“Hello?” He said and waved his hand in front of me. I immediately looked up at him and blinked my eyes several times to get myself back to Earth.
“Um… Yeah? What?” I said anxiously.
“Were you saying something to me?” He said. His voice was masculine and deep.
“Um… Yeah. I am” I said nervously. Emily. Be confident. Or else what Oliver said will turn out to be true. Just don’t be scared. I thought in my mind.
“Ahan. I am listening” He said and crossed his arms against his chest, looking at me deeply. They didn’t seem freshers to me as they were quite old enough to be freshers but they were unfamiliar to me.
“Are you guys new here?” I asked.
“Yes. We are. So?” He asked. I made myself strong and confident, trying to overpower them.
“So… You must come with me. And I don’t want any arguments” I said, pretending to be confident but I was shit scared from the inside. The gorgeous one left his group and started walking towards me with his eyes locked on mine. I moved back slowly but then realized that I should be scared of him and stood there firmly. He came near me, making me restless.
“Or else?” He asked.
“Um… I – I” I breathed heavily and added, “Do not try to overpower me, okay? I am your senior and you must respect me” I said raising my voice a bit.
“Oh I see. I must obey you then, right?” He asked me looking into my eyes.
“But…” One of his friends from behind started. He raised his hand to stop him to speak anymore. I was surprised by the control he had over his friends but he couldn’t over power me and I was proud of that and of myself.
“Yes. You must” I said proudly, pushing my strand of hair back.
“What do you suggest we do?” He asked.
“Come to Gymnasium B - 1. Everybody from your class will be there” I said strictly.
“As you say” He said. Just raising my voice a little made him so polite and sweet. I can be brave and confident after all. I thought and felt proud of myself.
“Okay. B – 1, right now” I said, pointing my finger at him. He nodded, while looking at me. I turned around and made my way to gymnasium B – 1. B – 1 had two doors, one at the back and one in the front. I entered the room from the back and saw Melissa there.
“Hey, Mel” I said and waved at her. She waved back at me and I made my way through the students and to her.
“Hey, Em. I was looking for you” She said.
“Ah I just got busy you know” I said and smiled widely.
“Where? Naughty girl” She said and winked at me.
“Mel? Seriously? You know I have never dated a guy before and I am still single” I said in my defense.
“Just kidding. I know you. Tell me, where were you?” She asked.
“Grabbing some students, as Oliver said” I said proudly.
“Really? You did?” She asked in amusement.
“Of course I did. I needed to prove myself, Mel. And I did” I said proudly.
“Oh I love that confidence” She said and hugged me tightly. We both giggled.
“Where are those students?” She asked me. I turned around to look for them but couldn’t find them anywhere.
“They were… just following me. I guess…” I said in confusion.
“What? Didn’t you bring them along with you here?” Melissa asked.
“I didn’t tell them to follow me, I guess” I said and placed my hand on my forehead while moving my eye balls here and there, looking for them.
Just then I found them, entering inside the room from the front door along with some other freshers.
“Oh… There they are” I jumped up in excitement and pointed my finger to them.
“Oh I see. That’s great” Melissa said excitedly.
“Hey… I wanted to tell you something funny” Melissa said.
“What?” I asked. She was about to say something but Ryan came on the stage.
“As all of you are here… I must introduce myself to you all” Ryan said. Ryan is also one of my friends since grade 8.
“I am Ryan Cowper. One of your senior and most strict senior I must say” Ryan said and we all laughed. Ryan laughed out too.
“You know very well that you all must pay something to us to live your high school life in peace” Ryan said out loud and we seniors hooted.
“Now you must obey the ones who brought you here and do whatever they want you to do. Or else your high school life will be miserable for you. I am warning you that” Ryan said and smirked. We all hooted again.
“Seniors… Let’s have some fun” Ryan shouted, making us hoot all over again.
“What are you going to tell them to do?” I asked Melissa.
“I am going to um…” She began thinking.
“Hey, Mel, Em. Let’s roast the ones we brought here, together” Oliver jumped up and said.
“Ah… That would be nice. I can’t handle mine, easily” I said and sighed.
“Where are they?” Oliver asked me.
“In the front” I replied.
“Okay go forward. Be brave. Order them something. We’ll be behind you” Oliver said. I nodded and moved forward towards those four students. The gorgeous one was looking at me while I made my way towards them.
“So… I will tell you guys what to do” I said confidently. The gorgeous one was standing with his hands crossed against his chest leaning to the wall, looking at me. As I was about to say something, Oliver and Melissa came over running to me calling my name.
“What happened?” I whispered to Melissa as she came near me holding my shoulder and breathing heavily.
“What are you doing?” She whispered to me. I looked at her in confusion, therefore, she added, “They are not juniors, Em. He is Aiden Bryce, a billionaire’s son and a transferred senior from St. Peter’s High school”
“What?” I looked at her in shock and then looked at Aiden with my eyes wide open…

Aiden’s POV: I kept looking at the Maester and lowered my head for a moment before looking back at him. “I understand that, Maester. But I’d like to respectfully tell you something,” I said and took a step forward, looking into his eyes. “I won’t let anyone hurt her even if it means going against my pack and getting killed. And about me… You can kill me. I don’t mind but I want you to make sure that she would not be bothered again ever in her life.” I added.“What are you saying, Aiden?” Dylan whispered to me bitterly from behind, while I stood confidently in front of the Maester.“We cannot kill you, Aiden,” The Maester. “Now that you’re the alpha, it’s not possible to kill you,” he added and took another step forward. “But that girl…”“That girl should not be harmed. It’d turn me against my community, Maester,” I said sharply and he kept looking at me for a few seconds before looking away.“I heard about the fight. I know how immensely you love that human. But make sure that she st
Dylan’s POV: As Aiden and Austin moved towards each other, I turned to look at Emily and immediately carried her up in my arms to take her to a side. Suddenly, I saw Austin taking a leap towards Emily but Aiden attacked him from behind, digging his nails into Austin’s flesh and he screeched. Austin jumped out of Aiden’s grip and turned around to face him. They both glared into each other’s eyes and then growled before pacing forward and jumped up in the air, grabbing each other. Aiden once again dug his nails into Austin’s back and pulled him down to the ground with a thud after which he bit Austin on his shoulder and he wailed. I could see Aiden’s frustration in his eyes, the way he was biting and scratching Austin. Their fight continued for almost twenty minutes and they both seemed equally strong for each other. Finally, as Austin was injured and stepped down on his knees for a while, Aiden jumped up from behind and grabbed Austin, turning him around and pinning him to the ground.
Aiden’s POV: I kept walking towards Austin’s house while my pack paced ahead of me as I had planned. Suddenly, we heard Emily scream and I halted in my track.“It’s her, right?” Dylan asked me and I clenched my jaws, my eyes welling up.“He’s doing the biggest mistake of his life,” I added bitterly. “He’s going to die horribly,” I added.“Aiden, you need to calm down. She’ll be alright, don’t worry,” Mason said and I took a breath, before proceeding to walk forward. Finally we reached the house and I observed the surroundings closely to check how many wolves were there. I nodded at Dylan who signaled some of our men to go ahead from the left side while some went towards the right with dad leading them. I stood there in the middle, planning my way to kill Austin.Soon after we heard some howls and I realized that everyone there had turned. I was ready to turn too and proceed forward. However, my heart was racing with anxiety as I feared to see Emily. I didn’t want to see her in pain.
Aiden’s POV: He kept looking at me for a few seconds before taking a breath and lowering his head down.“Look, Aiden,” he started, rubbing his forehead with his fingertip. “I know you love her and if anything will happen to her then you’d be devastated. I don’t hate your relationship with her more than I care about you,” he added. “So I am going to come with you. They will help us,” he said confidently.“Us? Are you going to fight Austin with us?” Dylan asked him.“Of course. I cannot let Aiden be alone in this war,” he replied and placed his hand on my shoulder. I couldn’t believe him and kept looking at him wondering if he was the same person who hated my relationship with Emily so much that he wanted to kill her. Now he himself was ready to help me save her life.“Well, thanks. Shall we go now?” I asked and he nodded before we walked away from there.Dylan called everyone from our pack at our land’s clearing and they were quick enough to reach there within half an hour as their Al
Aiden’s POV: My blood was boiling thinking about how Austin managed to take Emily away from me. I promised her that I’d protect her at any cost and I failed. It made me feel disappointed in myself as I had her bracelet clenched in my hand.“Austin won. He took her away,” Lucas said in disappointment. “How the hell are we going to find her?” he added in frustration.“I know how,” I said and reached out for my phone in my pocket while they continued to look at me in confusion.“What are you doing?” Dylan asked me.“Are you calling Austin?” Mason asked as I began to call someone.“Hello,” I said as the person answered the phone. “Phil, did you do it?”“Yes, sir. I have got it,” Phil replied.“Great, where?” I asked.“Sir, I am sending you.” He replied.“Okay,” I said and hung up the call while a small smirk graced my face.“Who did you call?” Dylan asked me and I turned to Lucas.“Austin can never win against me, Luc. No one can,” I told him and he got more confused.“What are you sayin
Melissa’s POV: While dancing slowly with Dylan, I couldn’t help but glance around to see if Emily and Aiden could be seen.“Their meeting is going to last for a long time, I guess,” Dylan said and I blinked my eyes wide, looking at him.“How did you know that I was…?” I started.“I know, worrying about Emily,” he added and I lowered my eyes. “It’s okay. I don’t mind,” he said, smiling.“I am just worrying about how her meeting with Mr. Bill is going. This internship is very important for her. I hope she gets it. But why is this Bill guy taking so much time with each student?” I asked in frustration.“Oh, I am thinking the same,” Aria’s voice reached me as she moved towards me, while dancing slowly with Mason.“Do you think we should go and check on them?” I asked her, moving my hands away from Dylan.“Yes, we can,” Aria agreed.“No you guys cannot. Mr. Martin clearly told us that only those ten students should be around the staircase. He didn’t want any extra crowd there,” Mason poin
