CLAIRE's POV

“Your reaction speed is too slow Claire!” Danica yelled at me.

I was laying flat on the floor, after being hit countless of times by Danica’s flames. I groaned and pushed myself up from the ground, determined to not give up and continue the training.

“You can do it Claire!” Emmaline cheered from the sidelines.

I shot her a thankful look and focused back on Danica, who was already chanting her next set of spells. Danica and Emmaline, the only friends I had made here, had offered to help me train and hone my innate witch powers.

Thrilled by their offer, I gladly accepted and we trained every single second we could. Emmaline and Danica were not top tier witches, but their powers were strong enough to train me.
