Pure Menace

Persephone was fuming after the endless unwanted encounters with Zadicus, living with him was utterly awkward for her.

“Why did this happen to me?” She groaned, this whole point was undesirable for her, she wanted to get out of this loop but couldn’t.

Both of them mostly avoided each other as their conversation only led to argument and breakage of emotions, they were on extremely bad terms with no clear outcome.

Groaning, Persephone was rubbing her temples, trying to subdue her headache by the constant worry surrounding her.

“What happened?” Daphne noticed her expression and asked, stopping in her tracks.

“You’re.. Ruth?” She asked as she couldn’t not remember their names.

“Daphne.” She corrected her.

“Oh.” She made an ‘o’ face in agreement.

“Are you alright? Are you hungry?” She asked softly because she was going to have dinner as well.

“I sure am.” She nodded, getting up, tired of receiving food in her room.

Daphne smiled feebly as they went to the dining hall
