Chapter Fifty Four

When the family of three walked downstairs, Mrs. Rita and the maids who were there stopped talking and watched them. When they got down, Mrs. Rita walked to them with a bright smile on her face. "I feel jealous seeing you guys!!" She said.

Blessing and Ene who were standing there also had smiles on their faces as they watched them walk down the stairs. "See how cute they look together. I too must love one-day oo!! If I no love eh!!" Blessing said while Ene nodded her head in support.

"We are going out and will be back late. Take care of the house." Christopher said to Mrs. Rita.

"You guys should have fun and take care!. Don't worry about the house and just enjoy yourself." She said and watched them walk out the door.

Christopher and his family went with his rolls Royce. Princess sat at the back while Rose sat at the front with him. "Buckle up, we are on our way to somewhere fun!!" He said and ignited the car.

"Where are we going to?" Rose asked.

"Where do you ladies want to go to first? It's too early to have lunch since it's just 11 am so, how about we go to an amusement park?" Christopher suggested.

"No, let's go to a zoo!!" Princess shouted from behind.

"A zoo? Why?" Christopher asked.

"I want to see an Elephant. Mommy said I can see any type of animal in the zoo and I want to see an elephant.!" Princess said.

"What do you say to that?" Christopher asked Rose.

"Anywhere is fine as long as we are together," Rose answered with a smile.

"That's it!! Our first stop is the zoo!" Christopher announced. Since they were in the Lekki area of Lagos state, he to out his phone and searched for the nearest Zoo. Lucky enough, The Lekki conservative center which happens to be one of the biggest and first zoos in Nigeria wasn't far away. He set up the G****e map and they drove his family there.

When they got there, he went and paid their entrance f*e before they would be allowed inside. When they were all wowed. The first thing princess wanted to see was an Elephant but when she saw a peacock, she didn't want to move again. She had to be pulled away from there by her parents. A lot of people who were in there and saw them began to take pictures of them. Christopher who was engaged came out with another woman and a child. "No!!! I want to stay with the peacock!!" Princess struggled when she was pulled away.

"I thought we came here to see an Elephant? Don't you want to see it anymore?" Rose asked while laughing at Princess.

"I want to take the Peacock home..." Princess said. "Let's take it home dad... Go and buy it!"

"We can't take it home. We can't take home any animal from here. They are here for viewing. We can't buy them." Christopher answered. Christopher found a worker and asked for activities that they could do there and they were told that they could have a picnic if they wanted. While they were taking a walk on the wooden bridge, Monkey kept jumping from tree to tree. Princess was so excited and kept calling out to the monkeys. Christopher who had been reading about the things one could do there found out that the lekki conservation center has the longest canopy walkway in Africa and if they could walk deeper they would even find a treehouse where they can see all kinds of birds. Christopher excused himself and went to the staff to ask if they could arrange a picnic basket for them. When he came back to them, Rose and Princess were trying to catch a monkey who had found them funny. He took out his phone and recorded them as they played with the monkey.

"Daddy, come and help us catch this monkey!!" Princess who saw him called him.

"What happened?" He asked and walked to them. He still didn't stop recording them.

"The monkey threw a stone at me and when mom threw the stone back at him, he would touch my hair and run away.!" Princess said and truthfully the monkey took that opportunity to touch Rose's hair.

"If I manage to catch this monkey eh!!!" Rose exclaimed. "I will use it to prepare pepper soup!" She shouted at the monkey who was enjoying teasing them.

"You can't catch it. You would only be stressing yourself." Christopher added while laughing at her.

"Stop filming!" Rose said when she noticed.

"Make me stop!" Christopher said.

"Princess, what about we show your dad what the two of us can do together?" Rose said and flexed her muscles while Princess followed her example and did the same. "Ready?" Princess asked.

"Ready Captain!!" Princess shouted and they both rushed towards Christopher.

Christopher continued to film them and they started to chase him. When they caught him, he raised the phone above his head and said. "Take it if you can," Rose and princess did everything possible to get to the phone but considering his height, they couldn't get to it. When Rose saw that struggles were in vain, she started to tickle him. "Stop it!! That's cheating!!" Christopher shouted between bouts of laughter and tried to get away from them.

"Who said there were any rules!?" Rose asked while laughing as well. She and Princess tickled Christopher till he fell to the floor.

"I've got the phone!!!" Princess exclaimed as she grabbed the phone from Her dad.

"Quick!! Film him while he is on the floor like a baby.!" Rose said and continued to tickle him.

Since the video was still recording, Princess just continued to film them. Christopher flipped Rose over and started to tickle her back. "No, stop it!!" Rose said and tried to get him off her.

"Who is the boss now?" Christopher asked as he tickled her more.

"You can do it, mom!!" Princess encouraged Rose while she continued to video them. "You can do it!! Try harder mom!!" Princess continued to cheer.

Rose laughed till the aide of her stomach started to ache. "Please... Stop... I give up!..." Rose said. People who passed them secretly took pictures of them. Seeing the famous Christopher Allen on the floor and tickling a beautiful lady was a sight to behold.

"Say, I am sorry boss!" Christopher said and continued to tickle her.

"Why?" Rose asked. "Please... Stop... My stomach.!" Rose said while laughing.

Christopher was having fun and he couldn't remember the last time he had laughed so much. If Uzo or any of his subordinates should see him like this, they would be shocked. "Call me boss or I won't stop!" He said to Rose.

"Come on mon!! Don't give up. Don't let Daddy win you. That will be a shame to the ladies.!" Princess said.

"Stop that Video Princess.!" Rose who was still on the floor said. When she saw that Princess was still filming and Christopher wasn't stopping, she gave up her struggles and said. "Ok... Ok... Boss.! Please stop it, boss!!" Rose pleaded loudly.

"I will stop now since you have just called me boss, I am your boss when it comes to tickling. Ok?" Christopher asked her.

"Yes, boss," Rose answered. Christopher nodded his head and stood up from her and immediately she stood up, she said. "Boss my foot!! Now it's your turn. Enjoy your victory while it lasts!"

"So, you can still talk? Wait till I catch you!!" He said and made to hold her but Rose quickly dodged.

"Catch Me If you think you can!!" Rose said. They continued to play and banter with themselves while exploring all morning.

"Am hungry dad!" Princess finally complained.

"Ok. You two go ahead and wait for me at one of the cottages. We will have a picnic there.!" Christopher said.

"Ok," Rose answered and they walked away leaving Christopher to get their food.

Christopher watched them walk away and all this time his smoke had never left his face. He clicked on the video he made and was watching it when his other phone rang. He looked at the caller and it was Uzo who was calling. "How fa? You better be calling me for a good reason!!" He said immediately the call was connected.

"Sometimes you are just too scary!! Can't you even say, what's up bro?" Uzo complained.

"I can say that but today is for my family and not for bro. So, why are you calling?" Christopher replied.

"Anyways, what I have to say is very important and can't wait. Your dad is making a move!!" Uzo said.

"What did he do?" Christopher asked.

"Well, he called two people last night, and from their discussion, he is planning something. He called Cindy's father and they talked at length. That's not the most important one sha... The call that interests us the most is the one he made to someone named Stone.!" Uzo said in one breathe.

"What was their discussion about?" Christopher asked.

"Your dad was telling him to get ready to do something for him. He told stone it was similar to what he did for him several years ago and it has to be as quiet as possible." Uzo said.

"That's good. I want him to make a move. Just make sure that you have him under watch at all times. I am tired of these games and it's high time I show them what I am really capable of." Christopher said.

"What are you planning bro? What's running through that head of yours?" Uzoaskedd.

"It's time to come out fully. Once he makes a move, I will make him know that I haven't been lying idle. Call the people we placed in his house and the ones we have trailing Cindy and her father. Tell them to be extra vigilant. I need to catch them red-handed this time around. Understood?" Christopher asked him after telling him of his plans.

"Yes, I understand. This is getting exciting and I love excitement. Enjoy your family time. I need to get to work." Uzo said and hung up the call.

Christopher returned his phone into his pocket and smiled. "That's right dad, show me what you can do." He whispered and walked away.

Rose and Princess got to where the cottages were set up and there were about ten in total. Each was a little bit far from the other to give the occupants privacy. When they got there, a worker came to them and said, "please, follow me, ma'am."

"Me?" Rose asked pointing at herself.

"Yes, ma'am. Mr. Christopher already told us to get one of the cottages ready." The person who had been waiting for them said. Christopher didn't make any special preparations but, when the manager found out that he was there, he personally asked his staff to decorate a cottage in case they needed it.

When the staff mentioned Christopher, Rose and Princess followed behind her. They got to one that was decorated beautifully. Rose was surprised and said. "This is beautiful. When did he arrange all these?" She asked.

"The truth is, when our manager found out that Mr. Christopher was around and had asked if a picnic could be arranged, our manager personally saw to this. I hope it's to your liking?" The staff asked them.

"It's beautiful. Thank you." Rose answered and walked in to sit with princess.

"Enjoy your self ma'am.." The staff said and walked away to give them privacy.

"Mom, I didn't get to see my Elephant!" Princess said when they sat down.

"Well, I guess you won't be seeing your elephant anytime soon. At least you have seen a new bird that you happen to like." Rose answered her.

"Yes, but I still want to see an elephant. I want to climb its back." Princess said.

"When your dad gets here, tell him that you still want to see your elephant and he will attend to you," Rose answered. While they were talking, Rose's phone started to ring. She took it out of her purse where it had been since they left the house and saw that it was Ada calling. "It's your aunt Ada," she said to Princess.

"Can I talk to her?" Princess asked excitedly.

"Sure," Rose said and answered the call then gave it to Princess.

"Good afternoon auntie Ada!!" Princess greeted with excitement in her voice.

"Afternoon Princess... How are you?" Ada answered. She wasn't expecting Princess to be the one to receive the call but she was happy to talk to her.

"Am fine auntie. I miss you, when will you come and stay with us?" Princess asked.

"Hmmm, that will take a while but, I miss you too. How are your mom and dad? Are they there with you?" Ada asked.

"Yes, mom is here but daddy went to get us what to eat! Guess what!?" Princess said.

"You know I can't guess, how about you tell me?" Ada said from the other side of the phone.

"Fine, I'll tell you. I have a pet now!! I named her sparkle." Princess said excitedly.

"Really? Do you have a pet? What animal of a toy is that?" Ada asked.

"It's a dog! A real dog!!" Princess answers.

"Wow!! That's good. Who got it for you?" Ada asked.

"My dad gave it to me. His dig gave birth and be asked me to take a puppy." Princess explained.

"That's so nice... I wish I could get one for myself as well. Anyways, is your mom there with you?" Ada asked.

"Yes, she is sitting right here, should I give the phone to her?" Princess asked.

"Yes, please. I have something to say to her. Don't worry I will come to visit you guys very soon." Ada said.

"Okay," Princess said and passed the phone to Rose.
