Chapter Sixty one

When Cindy got to where Rose was standing, she said confidently. "What are you still doing here? I thought you would have gone back to the hole you crawled out from."

Rose who was looking at her took two steps backward and said, "please, I hate to sound rude but you should become too close to me when you talk. I have the smell of rotten fishes."

Immediately she said that Cindy's face turned ugly. "Are you talking to me?" She asked.

"Who else is standing so close to me?" Rose answered with a serious expression.

"I will kill you today!!" Cindy shouted In anger and rushed to attack Rose.

The next thing that happened made the people who were close to them laugh. Rose waited till Cindy was close enough and then dodged her at the last minute. Cindy who was rushing to attack Rose at full speed wasn't expecting Rose to dodge her attack at that moment so she fell face flat on the floor. "Oh, do you like the floor so much?" Rose asked.

Cindy felt like killing Rose at that moment. She gritted her teeth, stood up, and cursed. "You are a bitch and I will make sure to ruin you. You dare to disgrace me right?? Just wait till I start living in this house and I throw you out in the street!!"

"Which house are you talking about? What qualification do you have to think you will ever live in this house?" Rose asked.

"I am Christopher's fiancee and his future wife!!" Cindy shouted.

"Oh!," Rose exclaimed and laughed. After she had calmed down from her laughter, she said. "So you are still his fiancee? I thought I told you never to come back here unless you are his wife!? If you are still engaged then, get out of here. You make the air around here smell so bad it's hard to breathe in!..." Rose said and pretended to find it hard to breathe.

Cindy's face was as ugly as anything when Rose was talking. "You!! You will regret what you have done to me today!! I will make sure of that even if it's the last thing I do on this earth. Now, get out of my way and let me in.!" She shouted.

"Let you in to where? This house?" Ross asked pointing at the house.

"Where else will I be talking about? Of course, I am talking about my fiancee's house!! Get out of my way!!" Cindy answered and wanted to walk In but Rose stopped her.

"Didn't you hear what I said or your ears are not working? I just told you that you can never step foot into this house again unless you are married to my HUSBAND!! But, with the way, I am seeing thing now eh, you are still claiming fiancee!!" Rose said shaking her head. "You are just rich but your attitude and brain are very poor! How can someone with an educational level like yours be this stupid? You don't even know when to give up!." Rose said.

"Why do I feel like you just called me a moron?" Cindy asked.

"Is that what you understood from all I just said? That's a pity. Your father must be ashamed to have a dense daughter like you... I pity him." Rose said.

John and Mrs. Rita were so happy seeing what Rose was doing to Cindy. "You can say whatever you like but, I have vine yo stay in this house and there is nothing anyone can do about it.! Get out of my way and let me in!!" Cindy shouted.

She wanted to go in by force but was held back by John who had come to stand beside Rose after Cindy's attempt to attack Ross earlier. "I am sorry but, you can't go in until Mrs. Rose gives you the permission.!"

"Wha...? What!? Repeat the nonsense you just said cause I didn't hear you!!! I can't go in? Where the hell is Christopher. Call him out here, right now!!" Cindy shouted authoritatively.

"Please John, don't have body contact with her. Her body odor is very strong and it will stick to you if you touch her too much. Just leave her. If she wants to go In then, let her. Just make sure that every place she puts her feet should be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected. I don't want my house smelling of rotten fish. Jesus!! The smell is getting stronger.!" Rose said and covered her nose.

"It is your whole family that is smelling!!! Just wait and see what I will do to you and that monkey you call a child. I will bet you out of this house and make life a living hell for her!!" Cindy said with anger.

"Ok, I have heard you!! Come back when you have that power but now, you are just an empty vessel, and guess what!! Am empty barrel makes the loudest noise. You can't do anything. Just get out and stop barking. You are tuning the atmosphere here!!" Rose said.

"I am not going anywhere today!! I am going to sit here till you call Christopher out!! I will not leave here. I am here to stay and there is nothing anyone can do about it!! You all are just a bunch of church rats. Poor opportunist!! That's what you all are!!" She shouted pointing at them all.

"Thanks for the compliments!!" Rose answered with a smile. "I like taking opportunities and I use them wisely. What about you? You don't even have common sense so, I don't expect you to recognize an opportunity when one is handed to you." Rose said.

"What's happening, mom!?" Princess who had just come out asked. "Is this not that actress aunty!? The one who was rehearsing for the role of a mad woman!?" Princess asked pointing at Cindy. "Is she practicing for another role?" She asked.

"I thought I asked you to wait for me inside.?" Rose asked. "You are right tho!! She is just rehearsing. Let's go back inside!?" She added and turned to walk away.

"It is your mother that is the madwoman here!! Stop allowing yourself to be fooled. You better advise your mother to stop snatching Other people's husbands. A decent doesn't do such a thing." Cindy said.

"Maybe you should make use of your own advice," Rose said to Cindy. "Can you please, take Princess inside?" Rose asked Mrs. Rita.

"Sure!" Mrs. Rita answered. "Come on, let's go in and wait for your mother to attend to her, and then, she will meet us inside." Mrs. Rita said and took Princess's hand and then walked away with her.

After they had gone? The smile on Rose's face disappeared instantly. She walked to Cindy, pulled her by her ears, and said, "listen attentively to me!! I will tolerate your nonsense if you don't involve my child but, once you decide to involve her, I will not accept that! Do you understand?" Rose warned.

"What's so special about that child of yours!?" She asked and Rose increased the strength she was using to pull Cindy's ears. "Haa, get your hands off me!!" She shouted and did everything possible to pull her ears from Rose's hand. "Do you want to pull out my ears!! Ouch!!" She shouted as Rose increased the strength she was using to pull the ear.

"I wanted to be lenient with you but, it seems like you don't deserve it. You will leave my house this minute and I don't want to ever come across you again!!" Rose said and pulled her up. "I don't go about making enemies but, if you target me I will not sit and watch you without doing anything. This should be the last time you will bring your smelling self into my house and insult me, my child, or the staff of this house. The next time you try that, I will beat you up and make you understand the big difference between an Ajebutter and an ajekpako." Rose and pushed her away.

Cindy fell on the floor unceremoniously and screamed. "You dare to threaten me right? you even have the guts to lay your filthy hands on me?? Just wait and watch what I will do to you.! I will end you before you even know what is happening.!!" Cindy said as she stood up.

"Just get out of my house and make sure you don't ever step foot here again!" Rose said to her with a frown. "Get that dirty thing off this property right now. Tell the gateman and everybody who works in this house that, if that thing manages to get into this house again, you all will lose your jobs. If she comes back here, just release the dogs on her!" Rose ordered.

"Yes, ma!" John who was standing behind her answered and went to pull Cindy out of the compound with happiness in his heart.

"You will regret what you have done today!!" Cindy screamed as she was being pulled out by John.

Rose just watched as she was dragged out and said to another person who was standing around the house. "Someone should throw this bag out with her!! I don't want to see anything that belongs to her here." She said and walked in.

After Christopher left the house, he went to one of his secret places where he usually meets with the people that work for him. When he was in the united states and couldn't come back, Uzo was helping him build companies and houses in Nigeria. He became a billionaire at the age of eighteen and he has never stopped working for a day. His father sends him money on a weekly basis then and it was over a hundred thousand dollars. All that money was what he was using to secretly create his companies then the money he got from his part-time jobs, he used to feed. His daddy thought he was always spending the money but he never did. He is, even more, wealthier than his father's company combined. When he came back to Nigeria, he wanted to tell his father that he wasn't interested in the company but Uzo who had been going and coming told him that something wasn't right. He hasn't even stayed for two months before his father started forcing Cindy on him.

"Welcome boss!!" One of his subordinates greeted him as he got down from his car.

"Anything new?" He asked as they walked in.

"Yes, boss.!" The person walking with him answered. Christopher just looked at him briefly and he said, "Uhm... The thing is, the people that were caught at Mrs. Rose's have refused to speak. One of them even managed to kill himself."

"Ok. Since Uzo has gone there then let him Christopher" Christopher said.

The whole day went by with Christopher being busy and checking out the people that are in Rose and Princess's security team. When he got home John was waiting for him when he got out of the car. "Welcome back sir," he greeted as he helped him open the door.

"Thank you. Did anything happen when I was away?" Christopher asked.

"Yes, something happened. Miss Cindy was here earlier in the day." John said.

"What did she come here to do?" Christopher asked.

"To tell you the truth, Mrs. Rose was very cool with the way she handled it.!" John said with a smile at the memory of what happened when Cindy came in the afternoon.

"What did she do?" Christopher asked with a smile.

"Mrs. Cindy came here with her luggage claiming she would be living here. The Boss lady asked me to let her come in. We were all shocked when she gave such an order but I allowed miss Cindy to go. The next thing that want to happen was that she tried to attack the boss lady. She dodged and Miss Cindy fell face flat on the floor." John said and laughed after talking.

"Did my wife call her a rotten fish?" Christopher asked.

"Yes, boss!! She did. She even told me not to get too close to Mrs. Cindy because of the way she smells." John said.

"What happened next?" Christopher asked.

"Well she angered the boss lady and I was asked to throw her out. She even told us all that if miss Cindy ever Steps foot in this house then, we will all lose our jobs." John explained.

"Good!! She has said it all and if that fish manages to come here again, I don't have a say In what will happen." Christopher said and walked into the house.

The next morning...

Rose woke up very early because Princess would resume her new school that day. She went to the kitchen and made breakfast of bread, tea, and egg sauce. When she finished, she went to wake Princess up. While she was helping Princess take her bath, Christopher also woke up in their room. He took his bath, got dressed for work, and went downstairs to wait for Rose and Princess to come down. About twenty minutes later, Rose and Princess cane downstairs. Rose had dressed Princess for school in a pair of jeans trousers and a white top. "Good morning dad!" Princess greeted as she went to give him a peck.

"Good morning my baby! Are you ready for today?" Christopher asked

"I am ready but nervous. What if my new classmates hate me?" Princess asked as she took her seat.

"Good morning!" Rose greeted as she came out of the kitchen with their breakfast. And started to set the table.

"Good morning my sunshine!!" Christopher answered.

Rose just looked at him when he called her that and felt shy because Princess was looking at the both of them with a mischievous smile.

"So, you were saying you are nervous right?" He asked Princess.

"Yes, dad! What if I can't adapt?" She asked worriedly.

"What you should be scared about should be, what if you end up making too many friends? What if they all want to be your friend?" Christopher said.

"That's not possible dad! There is no way everyone would want to be my friend. That's impossible." Princess said.

"It seems your mommy did not tell you that you are a celebrity right!?" Christopher asked.

"How am I a celebrity?" Princess asked looking from her father to her mother.

"Well, let me show you what I mean..." Christopher said and took out his phone. He brought out their pictures that were trending and gave the phone to Princess.

"Wow!! We are all trending.! That's why I have been asking mom to get me my own phone. I would have seen this a long time ago." Princess said as she was reading what was written under that picture. "Wait, they don't know our names yet. Some are assuming that mom's name is queen?!" Princess said with laughter.

"Put the phone down and eat. You don't want to be late on your first day right?" Rose asked Princess.

"Ok mom," Princess said and returned the phone to her father.

"Princess, can you call Mrs. Rita down for breakfast?" Christopher said.

"Okay, dad." Princes answered, got down from her chair, and went to call Mrs. Rita.

After she had left the table, Christopher turned to Rose and said, "when I got back last night you were already sleeping, and when I woke up, you were already out of the room. I want to make out relationship known. Is that ok with you?" He asked her.

"I thought we have done that Already. Haven't we?" Rose asked.

"We haven't. People don't know you are my wife. Some are even assuming you are my baby mama. The public still believes I am engaged to Cindy." Christopher explained.

"Well, I thought we have made it public already. Do what you must. What about the issue about the person who was asking questions about me?" Rose asked.

"I am working on that already. I sent Uzo to help me with it. Can you please call Ada and tell her Uzo will be staying with her?" Christopher asked.

"Sure!! I will call her and tell her. What about me going to work?" Rose asked.

"That's settled. Do you want the public to know that you are the owner?" Christopher asked.

"No, I don't want anyone to know that I own it. When will it start to operate?" Rose asked.

"Well, I was thinking that we could open it fully once it's 10 am. When it open, we will do a flash sale. People will get things at a discount price for this week. What do you think?" He asked Rose.

"Good morning!" Mrs. Rita who had just walked in with Princess greeted.

"Good morning!"

"Good morning, how was your night?" Rose and Christopher answered as she took her seat.

"So, let's eat!" Princess said.

They all started to eat and when they were done, Mrs. Rita asked to do the dishes. They left the dishes to her and went to do any last-minute preparations before leaving the house. When they were going out, Christopher used that opportunity to introduce them to their drivers. "So, you two know john already, he is going to be the one driving Princess to and fro whenever she is going out," Christopher said.

"Wow!! Does that mean I have a car?" Princess asked.

"Yes... That means you have a car and driver. You must not go anywhere without telling John. Make sure he is always aware when you want to go out. If he is not there then he would assign someone to take you but, it has to be him. Do you understand?" Christopher said.

"Yes, dad. I understand." Princess answered.

"This is Paul and he will be your driver," Christopher said to Rose.

"Good morning ma'am.!" The guy named paul greeted.

Rose knew very well that they are not just drivers but part of the security team that Christopher promised to set up for them. "Good morning Paul! Nice to meet you." Rose answered.

"For this morning, you guys will not be needed to follow us. Don't bother in the evening as well. I will pick them up myself." Christopher said to john and Paul.

"Ok boss!" They both replied.

"Will we be ok on our own? What if something happens?" Rose whispered to Christopher.

"Don't worry, your husband has got it covered. We will take Princess to school and then, I will take you to your office. Don't worry about workers. I have done all that for you. What you just need to do is go there." Christopher said to her.

"Okay," Rose answered and they all got into the car. They drove Princess to her new school and when they got there, Princess was reluctant to get out of the car. "What's wrong?" Rose asked her.

"I am scared. This is a new school and I have to meet new people. What if they don't like me?" Princess stated her worry.

"I have told you to just be yourself. I can assure you that, you will make new friends today." Christopher who was sitting at the driver's seat said.

"I know!! It's just that I am still very nervous. That's all!" Princess said.

"Come, I and your dad will follow you inside. We will wait till you are fully settled before we leave. Is that better?" Rose suggested.

"That will be awesome!! Thanks, mom. Now I feel better. Can we go now?" Princess asked as she opened the door.

Rose and Christopher got down after her and followed. Some parents who brought their children to school couldn't help talking about them. Their faces were trending and everybody would love to know the true identity of Rose and Princess who was walking with the rich and handsome Christopher Allen.
