The Party

Kiara's parents race down the forest with the Luna and Mia's mother. They had already shifted as they move zigzag avoiding the on coming woods. Each one of them a little bit worried though they were very prepared for these kind of attacks. Moving down the forest finally cleared revealing the borders.

'Just on time! There's many of them still coming.' The Alpha linked them as they poked on the battle field. Everyone intensely busy trying to fight off the rogue werewolves. Indeed the were many of them. Plus 20 if one is to count. No time to waist helping the others on taking the rogues down. They rogues were fairly trained but still couldn't match Alpha Matthew's warriors.

'where do they come from? There are many of them.' Mrs Sky's wolf complained sinking it's teeth on the neck of a rogue that failed on its attack. ' And they smell horrible.' she added.

' I don't know…. In the woods I see a couple of them.' Mrs Sky directed her wolf into the thick part of the forest.

'Could really use some help here.' Mr Sky muttered as he killed a few more on his way.

They were the perfect team and the rogues didn't stand a chance against them.

A she wolf, well that's what they concluded. Seemed to be way stronger than the others. Skilled and fast for a rogue. No matter she still was no match. The Skys didn't have to struggle much to put her down.

The few more rogues noticed that of cause as they started whimpering her lifeless body hitting the ground with a loud thud.

She must have been their leader as they all start retreating, running as if it's the only thing they knew. Well looking deep into it, it was the only thing they knew.

Mr Sky and Mrs Sky looked at each other amazed.

'That was odd.' said Mrs Sky.

' Good work everyone. Now scout the whole territory to make sure there isn't more of them.' The Alpha ordered.

***Kiara***

Me and Mia we sat on the table still shocked.

"What just happened?" Mia was as confused as I was.

" I literally have no idea." I told her part glancing at the door.

"Well your mother said it was nothing to worry about. Maybe we shouldn't worry." Mia responded.

" Maybe you're right." I sighed. Though a part of me didn't want to believe that. I was still worried deep down. My parents always do this kind of things. Usually there's a rogue attack or something. I never really worried as much because I know they are capable. But now something just feels odd.

"What's with the long face? Cheer up a little! It's your birthday!" She reminded me. I might have completely forgotten about that. My mind kept racing back to what happened a few minutes ago. " We should definitely be getting ready for the party." She suggested cutting yet another big piece of the cake.

"Sure. At least let me clear out the table first." I said to her. She helped me to clean the dishes and place everything to it's place. Time went and by the time we were done it was already late.

Mia left to go and prepare herself for the party and while I remained . I sighed taking a few steps to my room. My birthday yes, but I just didn't feel like partying. I felt I could snuggle in my bed and enjoy the warmth of my blankets.

I went inside my room and went to the shower.

A well deserved one.

Soon I was sitting in front of the mirror with a towel wrapped around me drying my jet black hair. My hair was different from my parents though. My mother had dark chocolate hair and my father sandy hair, though dyed black you could still see the effects of his natural hair. Maybe that's what you get when you mix honey and chocolate.

After I finished drying off I went to my closet to look for something to wear. To my surprise I find a nice garment already hanging in the closet. It was obvious it was mine since it had a banner written happy birthday princess. I literally smiled from ear to ear as I took the dress out. It was a black off shoulder A-line dress that was a few inches below my thighs. I twirled in front of the mirror countless times taking my new look. With a matching pair of black boots I was ready to take the world by storm. They had no idea what was coming for them. I took my side back and looked at the mirror for one last time before I left and by that I mean a countless few more times. At the moment I was extremely in love with myself.

I went downstairs and waited for Mia to arrive. At least 15 minutes of waiting before the door opened.

" Finally!" I grumbled as I saw her approaching.

"Don't sass me! You didn't even know anything about this party!" She scolded and I snickered.

" You look amazing! I'm jealous." I complemented. She was wearing a red silk dress that amazingly showed her beautiful waist and curves. With matching sandals and hand bag. She looked like a movie star.

" You are the one to speak? Look at you! If I didn't know any better I would think this is your party we are headed to." She said.

" Ohh c'mon sweetie we both know you're the one taking the cup here." I told her with a smirk.

" It's getting late and the party has already started. We can either spend the whole night arguing who is more beautiful which is obviously you or we could go and have some fun." She suggested and I nodded approvingly.

" Well let's go and crash this party!" I screamed.

" Wooo!! Now that's the spirit." We reluctantly followed each other and went to the party. In not so long we could hear the loud music and see the neon lights ahead. Soon enough we're in a crowd of people going in and out the busy area.

We literally had to force our way in.

"How is it so packed in here?!" I screamed above the loud music to get Mia's attention.

" Whoow jeez!" She stumbled as someone forcefully pushed her out of the way. "I think I see some free space over there." She led us to the other side of the room. Luckily this side was not as packed.

"This was actually not a bad idea." I leaned in to Mia's ear.

" I knew you were going to like it." She said. We partied until it was midnight. I was standing besides Mia when I felt this wave past my body. Everything slowed down and the music fading away. My senses tingled and I turn around to look. I look to find a pair of eyes staring right at me. I had found my mate.
