“My Princess.” My father squeezed me to himself with all his might.

“Ah, you’re suffocating me, Dad!” I screamed with a red face and the last breath I had in me.

He continued to squeeze me for an extra one or two seconds before he let me go, holding me at arm’s length with tears in his eyes.

“Selly, why have you been ignoring me?” He asked, still holding me at arm’s length. “I have called, texted, and even sent mails but you never once replied to me!”

“Dad, I’m busy, okay.” I tried shrugging off his hands on my shoulders so I could avoid his gaze from the guilt eating at me but he didn’t let me. His grip was strong and his eyes were staring deep into my soul trying to intensify my guilt.

“Seb, you’re attracting a crowd,” my mother, the only reasonable person in my family, said.
