Jessica Smith, the beautiful girl who was silent in front of her mother's grave. Not a single tear escaped the girl's sad eyes. Not because she wasn't sad to let her mother go. It was just that she had cried too much. She was tired.
She tried to let go of the old woman with a smile. If her mother suffered so much living in this world, wouldn't it be better for her to leave all her suffering?
Then what now? What should she do?
On the other side of the tomb, stood a handsome man in black who had been watching the girl. He is Lorensius. The young man was once saved by Jessica's father. Jessica's father was a government official who was known to be very loyal and friendly. It's a shame that he was proven to be corrupt and the government confiscated all of his family's assets, including his wife's supermarket.
Jessica... that girl lost everything. Her father was imprisoned, all of her family assets confiscated, and her mother, who was severely depressed, committed suicide. There's nothing left.
Lorensius stepped closer to Jessica, the man then stood next to Jessica and placed the bucket of flowers he brought on the grave of Jessica's mother. The girl turned weakly to Lorensius and wondered who the man was. She had never seen the man before. And a man as young as coming to his mother's grave, isn't that quite strange?
"Who are you?" Jessica asked bluntly.
"Someone your parents once helped," said Lorensius without turning to look at the girl.
Lorensius then looked at Jessica intently, the beautiful girl with light brown eyes was staring at him intently.
"Why haven't I heard of you?" Jessica asked.
"Should they tell you everything?" retorted Lorensius.
Jessica took a deep breath, then shook her head slowly, if she had come to pay her last respects to her mother, why did she have to be so noisy?
"Live with me!" cried the man in an even voice.
The man slowly turned to Jessica and looked at the girl deeply.
Jessica who heard the man's offer just frowned in confusion. When everyone ostracized her because she was the daughter of a corrupt, the stranger came and offered to live with him.
"You are alone now, everyone turns around without wanting to see your face. If you have no other purpose, just live with me," said the man again.
Jessica immediately cursed harshly. She was annoyed that everything the man said was true.
She is alone now. None of her family and friends would accept her. She was even nearly kicked out by the owner of the house she contracted for not paying, and she was really hungry now. She saw no other option...
"You look pretty young, sure you want to accommodate me?" Jessica asked doubtfully.
Yes, the man does look young. Jessica even believes that their age is not much different.
"I wouldn't come to you if I wasn't sure. I can afford to give you a place to stay and eat!" said Lorensius in an even voice.
"Pretty reasonable," Jessica muttered.
"It's getting dark soon, we have to go," Lorensius said quietly.
Jessica took a deep breath, then looked straight at her mother's grave.
'Mom, I have to go,' Jessica thought.
After that, she followed Lorensius away from her mother's grave.
"Hey, we haven't known each other names," Jessica said quietly.
"My name is Lorensius. Even if I'm not a good person, I won't hurt you!" said Lorensius quietly.
"So you're a bad person?" Jessica asked innocently.
"Not really. I'm just helping people in a bad way!"
Jessica frowned in confusion.
***
Jessica sat limply on the sofa. Her head felt empty now.
Previously, Jessica had thought that Lorensius was a rich man, or at the very least, an employee of a large company. However, unexpectedly, the man was a pimp at one of the nightclubs in this city.
Yeah, Lorensius might be rich, but not because he's an employee in a big company or a child of a conglomerate, but a pimp.
This is unbelievable. Jessica's common sense rejected the reality in front of her.
"Are you surprised?" asked Lorensius with a straight face.
"Isn't it natural for me to be surprised?" Jessica asked in a weak voice.
The girl's eyes continued to explore the entire club, which was filled with men and women having fun.
Lorensius chuckled softly at Jessica's pale face.
"I'm not telling you to sell yourself! I'm just offering you a place to stay and eat!" Lorensius confirmed.
"Only that?" Jessica asked confused.
"Yeah, that's all. You expect me to live up to all that extravagant lifestyle of yours? No, I won't do that! I have bigger things to take care of than you!"
Jessica scowled.
Not. She cannot live only by breathing, eating, and sleeping. She also had other things she had to make happen. Something that could get her out of all this suffering.
Jessica looked around and took a deep breath.
"Hey, do you think I'm pretty enough to be one of your girls?" Jessica asked in a muffled voice.
Lorensius frowned in confusion. What was Jessica thinking? How could she think of something like that?
"Don't even try! Once you dive into that world, your life will be completely ruined! Everyone will look down on you. You're filthy! No, it's worse than that, can you imagine every man coming up to you and touching you? Is that too terrible for you?" Lorensius stared intently into Jessica's eyes.
Jessica was silent with her mouth tightly shut, and jaw clenched.
"You certainly can't! So don't even think about doing that."
"I need a lot of money!" said Jessica.
"I'll give you as much money as I can. But I'm not sure if it's enough. How much money do you need?"
"A huge amount!" Jessica said blankly.
"What for? What did you do with the money?"
"Go to Switzerland, and grow old there. It was my mother's dream. I had to earn a lot of money to make it happen!"
Lorensius was silent. He did have quite a lot of money. But he kept the money, not for himself. He wanted to set up an orphanage because there were so many abandoned children like him who needed shelter and food.
"You can arrange it for me! You know I don't want to be touched by just any man! Choose the right man for me!" said Jessica in a deep voice.
There was not the slightest doubt in her words. Seeing the seriousness of the girl's gaze, Lorensius gave up. After all, it was Jessica's life. If she had chosen that path, nothing could stop her.
"I'll arrange it. I'll make a list of VIP guests worthy of you. Just prepare yourself," said Lorensius at last.
Jessica smiled sadly. She then nodded slowly.
"Before that, I want to confirm something," said Lorensius doubtfully.
"What?"
"Are you still a virgin?"
"Yes!"
Tonight, Mike managed to eliminate the lives of traitors, starting with his wife's innocent children. Now his only task is to find out who the man was who dared to play with him yesterday. Moreover, the man is close to Jasmine. He didn't like something that belonged to him being touched by someone else."Sir, where are we going?" I asked one of Mike's men."Going to the club, there are things I want to do there." The car Mike was traveling in sped up through the dark streets. They were now far from the city, and some of the roads they had to take went through the forest. There was no light from the street lamps shining on them. All they could see along the way was darkness. It took three hours to get to the city and another half hour to get to the club he usually went to.The car Mike was traveling in stopped at an intersection because of a red light. And from there, he saw the silhouette of a man he knew very well. "Follow the car!" He ordered the driver."We're not going to the clu
FlashbackJackson, who had just arrived home, was surprised to see his parents sitting there waiting for him. His father's first words were about Jackson's love of clubs."What made you take them to the club? What are you looking for at the club? You should know, there are only prostitutes who don't deserve to be with you." His father snapped. Jackson, who was being scolded, just shut up and bowed his head. "I'm just having fun," was Jackson's alibi to avoid being scolded by his father. "Lies!" said someone who appeared from behind Jackson's back."He went there to meet a girl. Ah, wrong... She's not a girl anymore because a lot of guys have fucked her," he mocked as he shrugged his shoulders. The man sat next to Jackson's father; he didn't care about the glare Jackson was giving him. He felt victorious for making Jackson submit for the first time."Oh yes, uncle... That girl is also close to Mike Aidden," he said, further inflaming Jackson's father.Jackson's father approached him
This morning was the same as the previous morning. The workers at the club chose to relax in the living room. Some were still asleep in their rooms, and some were still in their rented rooms.Jasmine walked slowly to the dining table for breakfast. Jasmine also ignored their stares at her. Even though some of them had changed their views on Jasmine, there were still many of them who hated her."Where are you going?" I asked Leah, who was limping along.Jasmine turned her head back to see who was asking. When she found out that it was Leah, Jasmine did not answer."You think you're good? I won't thank you for saving me," still as usual because Leah was still arrogant and reluctant to thank Jasmine for rejecting her a while ago."I didn't want to help you at first either. It was only because your face seemed to be asking for help that I helped you. If you die, it's not my fault either, because you brought her here and you said her body was pretty good," Jasmine said sarcastically. She g
Mike received a call from the guard assigned to guard the warehouse. He also received news that all those guarding the warehouse were lying down. Mike's emotions and anger are currently unstoppable because someone is looking for a fight with him.So far, no one has dared to touch him or come close to him, but this person has dared to disturb him.Mike did not deliver the items directly. He ordered his confidant, and now he was at the warehouse.Mike looked around, and nothing was missing. Not a single trunk was damaged. Only a few of his men were injured by the punches and kicks of the intruder."What did he take here?" Mike asked those who were still conscious."I don't know, sir; he just went around with ease and came back out. From what I saw, he didn't take anything." He explained.Mike picked up the key to a room. He looked there to make sure it was safe. "What exactly are you looking for if you didn't take any of my stuff?" Mike said to himself.Mike gave the key to one of his m
The bright sunshine was still not as bright as Jasmine's smile this morning. All of them working at the club just stared at Jasmine in confusion. She had never woken up early, let alone smiled as brightly this morning."Is she possessed?" whispered one of Jasmine's friends."She woke up early, and she joined us for breakfast."There were many more whispers among those who were actually afraid. Ever since the incident where Jackson ravaged the club, they were scared, especially when it came to hurting Jasmine. They did not want to meet the same fate as Leah, who was still lying in the hospital bed.Unlike the others, at this moment, Anya immediately approached Jasmine and said, "Why are you smiling so brightly this morning? Did something happen last night? Or did you get a lot of tips?" Anya's questions made Jasmine dizzy."If you want to ask me one-on-one, I'm not that great at remembering," Jasmine replied, earning a rude snort from Anya."What makes you smile?" Jasmine repeated her
Jasmine just sighed as she had to meet up with her old friend. I don't know why she always met her friend. Jasmine just gave a smile and walked away, but Alyssa held her hand."Are you dating Jackson? Or am I just using him to fulfill your huge needs?" Alyssa sneered at Jasmine proudly. Alyssa even raised her voice to be seen by the people around them passing by. Jasmine turned around and let go of Alyssa's hand. "It's none of your business who I go out with, and you don't have to know what I do. Wasn't it you who said not to get to know each other when we meet?Alyssa did not like what Jasmine said, so she pulled Jasmine's hair and grabbed her firmly."Akhhh!" Jasmine shouted, which made Jackson angry.Jackson gripped Alyssa's hand firmly, not forgetting that he also grabbed Alyssa's wrist, preparing to break Alyssa's wrist. If Jasmine had not restrained Jackson's hand, Alyssa would have had to go to the hospital for treatment by now."I hope you didn't provoke the sleeping wolf."
