Chapter Forty-Two

Annie stood in the cramped shower stall, the warm water spilling over her body as she leaned against the tile wall. The room was slowly filling with steam as she relaxed under the warm water. The shower curtain pulled open and she looked over at Candy.

“Need me to wash your back?” She asked with a smile, water dripping from her naked body as she moved into the tight space.

Annie watched the water droplets trail down her breast. She wanted to lean closer, to trail her tongue over Candy’s skin. Instead, she handed her the soapy washcloth and turned around. Bracing her hands on the wall.

Candy brushed her the cloth over her mate’s back, enjoying the way she shivered. Dropping the rag to the floor, she stepped closer, rinsing Annie’s back off before bringing her hands to her shoulders and kneading the tense muscles.
