Fake Bond of the Lycan Lords

Fake Bond of the Lycan Lords

Our claws touch for a fraction of a second, and the pack bond clicks in my head. He is the king of the sun kingdom. The land where the sun never shines, yet his eyes burn with the raw light of a star. The white king walks toward Betty, his gaze lifting to the sky. He raises both arms toward the sun. A strange, heavy pressure drops over the forest. The light begins to bleed out of the air. The bright afternoon fades into a thick, artificial twilight as the trees turn to charcoal shadows. It is done, the sun king’s voice echoes in my mind. I can hold the solar energy inside my own body for one hour. Your friend Novalee thought this would give her a chance.

TIME TO FALL IN LOVE

TIME TO FALL IN LOVE

[The Summer Solstice] The heat of the Azorean summer was a physical weight, thick with the scent of crushed wild thyme and the intoxicating sweetness of ripening figs. On the day of the solstice, the sun seemed to pause at its zenith, bathing the island in a white-gold radiance that made the shadows beneath the basalt cliffs feel like cool, inviting velvet. For Jinyan and Panni, this was not just the longest day of the year; it was an invitation to step into the heart of the community that had been shielding them from the world's cold eyes.

The Billionaire's Temporary Mistress

The Billionaire's Temporary Mistress

“When everything feels clean and quiet again.” She became obsessed with light. “No flickery lights!” she decreed. “Flickery lights are scary.” She advocated for large windows, skylights wherever possible, and warm, adjustable lamps. “Sunlight is the best medicine,” she declared, echoing something her therapist had once said, but making it her own. “Even on sad days, sunlight can find you if you let it in.”

The Lost Pack

The Lost Pack

I frown, but gently move Jaxon onto Parker’s lap and stand. I step into the beam of sunlight that shines brightly through the window. The moment it touches my skin, something inside me… shifts. Not violently or intensely. It’s more like a gentle realignment. I inhale deeply, the breath filling my lungs without effort. Leo watches me carefully. “Ronnie said sunlight might help.” “It does,” I whisper. “It feels… easier.” Parker lets out a weak laugh. “Great, my mate runs on solar power.” Leo grins. “Better than running on your battery.”

Loving this book so far! Author, as many have stated in the chapter comments, 291 & 292 are repeat chapters from 283 & 284. Though I do believe they should be at 291/292 (makes more sense) and not 283/284.

this was the first story I read by this author. it was beautiful! I felt every emotion and got some crazy looks from my mate when I would start laughing or wiping my face because I shed some tears. it's definitely worth reading. I finished it in 2 days because I literally couldn't put it down

A Werewolf's Growth and Redemption

A Werewolf's Growth and Redemption

In doing so, not only does the affection deepen, but it also highlights a side of reliability, achieving two goals with one gesture. Two hours later, I entered the tent, carrying a small table filled with Ryan-brand positivity. By then, the sun had reached its zenith, proudly displaying its might. Its golden rays bathed the earth in warmth, reminding everyone to shoulder their daytime duties, urging them not to squander their time with half-hearted effort.

Auctioned at 18 | Claimed by Two Alphas

Auctioned at 18 | Claimed by Two Alphas

Okay, not never, but literally we were limited to like 20 minutes a day, and if it was raining or you did something that got you in trouble, then forget about it. I drop my hand down and close my eyes, basking in the feel of the sunlight on my face. I can feel Alpha Thorne’s gaze on me, and I ask, “What is it?” “You like the sun, huh?” There’s amusement in his voice. I suppose this is kind of a weird thing to do, but I can’t help it. I feel rejuvenated. I wonder if Elyria has come out yet. Has she faced the same exhilaration of freedom I feel now?

The Stranger Who Stayed:When Fate Knocks Once

The Stranger Who Stayed:When Fate Knocks Once

He thought: the practice is in its beginning. He thought: it has always been in its beginning. He looked at the south window. The solstice light at its lowest angle, the noon sun at its furthest horizontal reach, the light on the floor of the flat at its maximum extension. He thought about this light in the community centre's gathering room in the December of the first year — the south window at forty centimetres and the December sun entering the room at the level of the sitting body and moving across the floor of the weight-bearing room to the north wall.

Touched by a Vampire

Touched by a Vampire

We woke in the middle of the night and dressed, in case Jase woke up before us. He was getting older, and I vowed to make sure to move him into his own room next to ours when we got back home. The sun shone brightly through the window the next morning, caressing my cheek. It felt great to be in the sunlight, after not being able to enjoy it for so long. For so many years, I had spent my life living in darkness, until Leila literally brought sunshine into my life. Not only literally by developing the Sunlight Serum, a cure for our aversion to sunlight, but she had brought sunshine into my life figuratively, as well, bringing light back into my life with her sweetness, her goodness. I had neve

Yearning for Her Return

Yearning for Her Return

The world seemed rather uninteresting to her at that point. However, when she finally came to terms with everything and truly moved forward, those thoughts suddenly vanished. The sunset outside cast a warm glow through the small window. The rays landed on the back of Rebecca's hand. She lowered her gaze, raised her hand, and felt the touch of the sunlight on her palm. "The sunlight takes about 8 minutes and 20 seconds to reach Earth. This means that the sun we see now is from eight minutes ago. "Similarly, the light from the stars we see at night may have traveled for a very long time before reaching us. The faint light we observe might be minutes or even billions of years old, and by now, i

Ellen Addawe
I like the depth of this book, the character of the FL wherein she learns a lot in her life experiences, her moving on from the past and enjoying her life in the present. Not the typical love story wherein after all the heartaches, betrayal & rejection, still the FL gives the ML a second chance.

I stopped reading this book the moment Rebecca got married to someone else and Daniel is dying of late stage cancer, after all he suffered in the hands of his evil brother and family, I expected a happy ending for him and Rebecca but the writer chose other wise. He doesn't deserve this tragic ending

Seducing My Brother-in-Law

Seducing My Brother-in-Law

“People who have come through will see it as just ended.” “Yes,” he says. “That is the most necessary thing you have made,” I say. “It is the most necessary,” he says. “Complete and necessary are different things.” I look at him. “Is it finished?” I say. “Almost,” he says. “The quality of the light in the upper right corner. One more session.” “Tomorrow morning,” I say. “If the light is right,” he says. “The light will be right,” I say. “North-facing windows in December. Horizontal and clear until ten. You have four hours of exactly what you need.”
