“I read it over the course of three days, and imagined my father giving me three different answers. The one I hoped for, the worst one possible, and the one he would have most probably given me… Then, I burnt the letter.”
“You burnt it?” She asked, somewhat breathlessly.
She had poured her whole heart into writing that letter. Did she really need to burn it?
“Or you could sit by Piedra River and weep,” he shrugged. “Whatever works best for you.”
“I saw what you did there,” she giggled. “I never thought you read Paulo Coelho’s work.”
“I only read two of his books; The Alchemist, and By the River Piedra I Sat Down and Wept.”
