She whispered with a broken voice, placing a hand over Clara’s small one. “Oh, hush, nothing is going to happen to her, alright?” She encouraged, giving Marissa a pat on the back. “I hope so.” “I’ll have a talk with the doctor and be right back. You can stay here with her.” Kiara said, exiting the hospital room and flagging down a doctor. “Good morning, is Clara’s primary doctor around today?” Kiara asked with a glint of hopefulness in her eyes. The male doctor flipped through the pages on his clipboard, “No, I am afraid not. However, she did leave the reports with me, so I can discuss what’s going on with your little girl.”

She poured a little into the glass and sipped it slowly, waiting for the arrival of Tristan. After fifteen minutes, Tristan arrived, he was shaking and breathing heavily. Clara was on the cold floor, groaning and crying as if she was really in pain. That got Tristan. Without asking her any questions, he carried her up and tucked her gently into his car. Like a crazy man, he sped to the hospital. The nurses received her and they hurriedly went to call her personal doctor. Her doctor went to attend to her and he came out after 30 minutes. "I have successfully stopped the attack she is having but she needs blood right now. It's her time of the month," The doctor said.

She asked and he looked at her without even saying anything in response to her. "He has his wife, Bella, what else can he possibly need?" Zara asked her and she was forced to keep her mouth shut without saying anything at all. Zara then turned to the doctor and asked him something. "Doctor, is there a way we can see Clara? Even if we don't get to go inside the ward that she is, we would like to see her please." She said and the doctor nodded his head.

The man was pale and shaking, terrified by the sudden teleportation. "Dr. Clark," Ethan’s voice was chillingly cold. "Clara's private physician." "I… I didn't do anything wrong…" the doctor stammered. "Didn't you?" Ethan grabbed his collar, his eyes glowing red. "Then let's have a look at your memories." The vampire's mental power was absolute. The doctor’s pupils dilated, his expression going slack. "Tell me, is Clara's heart condition real?" "No… it's not…" the doctor answered robotically. "Her heart is perfectly healthy… There was never anything wrong with it…"

"Miss Hughs, Miss Hughs," the doctor kept calling after her but Clara wouldn't stop as she doubled her steps instead like she was running away from the doctor. "OMG, she is in shock," the doctor thought as he chased after her. Clara had taken fast steps towards the roadside. She tried to cross the road but did not see the approaching truck in her state.

"Clara!" Daniel snapped and rushed into the room. Alpha Daniel saw that Clara had immediately fainted and that the Doctor and several nurses were busy with the bleeding. "What is it, Doctor?" asked Alpha Daniel frantically. The Doctor replied, "Mrs. Clara had a miscarriage and we had to remove the fetus despite the light bleeding. Please wait outside and don't add to the panic, trust us to handle this and always pray to God." The Doctor continued, slowly trying to push Daniel towards the exit of the room.

I added, my voice shaking. “Nothing close.. something like a personal reason, but I promise, I will sort this out and make sure i see with Dr Clara Myself” And for a moment, the name “Clara” rang a bell in my head, striking a nerve. I used to know a Clara but there was no way it could be the same Clara. The dead can’t be a doctor in the land of living. Even if she was alive, there was no way she could amount to being a doctor.
