Novel & Cerita 1st Chronicles Chapter 1

Maybe, just maybe, her destiny was only beginning. Outside, unseen and silent, shadows moved in the distance. Eyes glimmered, scanning the horizon. The villains from the past were not far behind, and the chase had only just begun. Shadow seen outside the window—villains are tracking her. —END OF CHAPTER 1—

This chapter sets the tone of the new book, deepens the danger, raises the stakes, and shows the first real awakening of the child’s power. ⸻ **BOOK TWO — CHAPTER ONE “The Blood Between Realms”** (approx. 600–650 words) The realm trembled all night. Not from battle. Not from Malik’s fury pulsing through the stone corridors. Not from the Underworld pounding at invisible gates. It trembled because of the child.

They were Kin. "It’s not over, Eryx," I whispered, looking at Hope and Leo, who were watching the global light fade into a natural, beautiful dusk. "We’ve woken the world. Now we have to Teach it how to Live." I looked at my hands. The ink was gone. The silver was gone. There was only the Marrow. "The 183rd Chapter is the end of the Rebellion," I declared, my violet-silver eyes locking onto the future. "But it's the First Chapter of the Pack of the World."

When dawn came, it wasn’t light that split the horizon. It was a line of text: “The Queen stood alone. But not for long.” Liora looked up and saw her enemies, Not soldiers, Not gods. Thousands of them. Blank-faced beings formed from parchment, crawling over the cliffs, silent and hungry, Each bore a sigil carved into its chest: Chapter 0. The first reached the Citadel’s walls, Touched stone And it vanished, No flame, No crumble, Just gone, as if it had never existed, Sera tried to summon a ward, It sparked then fizzled.

Malachai braced himself, magic sparking. The First? Still standing. Untouched. Unsmiling. Eyes locked on hers. “You cannot refuse forever.” Lyra wiped the blood from her lip. Her voice was a whisper sharpened to steel. “Watch me.” The First lifted their hand— and the ice cracked beneath every wolf on the battlefield. The war hadn’t ended. It had begun.

Something about this moment didn't resonate with the dark premonition that had haunted my subconscious. My gaze snapped back to Raphael, my attention refocused. With newfound determination, I grasped the staff, aware of its limitless potential. It was an instrument of my will, capable of unleashing any power I desired. With a swift motion, I pointed the staff at the earth, and the ground began to shudder. The air grew heavy with the stench of decay as I summoned an unholy legion: an army of the damned, risen from their eternal slumber to do my bidding.

I woke up confused. Where the heck in crusty tomato am I? My neck ached and I let out a moan of pain, as I stretched my arms behind my back and rubbed my neck to soothe the slight strain and ache. Groggily looking around, I blinked to clear my hazy disoriented vision to see I had slept on the floor, the book I was reading last night still in my hand, and no sign of Elijah. I glanced at the alarm clock and my eyes widen when I saw it was 11 in the morning. Omg!

I had no idea which one was the Alpha and as I introduced myself, a large, well built man introduces himself as Alpha Zach and steps forwards but not towards me, towards Charlie, he bows his head and drops to one knee “Good morning my Queen” I turn to face Charlie, in complete and utter shock and she looked just as shocked as I did.

Beneath it was various other books, none that I recognized except a translation of the Dead Sea Scrolls. “I know it can be intimidating and unnerving to think the answers to what you’ve seen these past few days...and to more than you know are mostly contained in this. But trust me. When I finish educating you, it will all make sense.” And there was his hand on my arm again. I knew now this wasn’t his way of flirting, but his way of consoling. I looked at the mound of books. He cracked open the bible to Genesis, chapter 6.

“Am I the first?” She blinked, not entirely sure what he was asking. “What do you mean?” “Am I the first male to kiss you?” “Oh.” She blinked in surprise. It was a strange question, considering that he had to know she’d been cursed when she was just a hatchling. “Yes, you’re the first.” Another brooding glance. “Are you sorry?” “Why would I be sorry?” His hands balled into fists, as if he was struggling to contain some fierce emotion.
