"I was a maid, a servant, a ghost. I was nothing. But I am not invisible anymore. I am the Primordial Queen. And I am coming for the Council." The three Alphas fell into step beside me—one on each side, one at my back. We walked toward the treeline, leaving the Ashford Estate to crumble into the dust of history. The blood moon had set. The sun was rising. And for the first time in my life, I wasn't running from the shadows. I was walking into them. Because the shadows were where the monsters hid. And I was the one hunting them now. END OF CHAPTER 19

The first chapter of the prophecy was closed with a lie. The next chapter would be written in truths made of steel and shadow, and it would begin with a single, silent vow: when she saw Kael Vexis again, he would not recognize the ghost he thought he’d buried. He would see only the queen, and the ruin, standing before him, waiting for him to choose which one he would awaken.

“You knew this would happen.” The accusation echoed through the balance. The First Queen lowered her gaze. For a long moment, she said nothing. Then she whispered, “I prayed the seal would last forever.” The balance erupted. Nyros stepped forward immediately. “What seal?” The Voidborn focused entirely on the First Queen. Across existence, every force seemed to wait for her answer. The silver-haired ruler closed her eyes. Pain crossed her beautiful face. The kind of pain carried for countless ages. When she finally spoke, her voice trembled. “Before the first wolves were created, there was only one.” Silence spread through the balance. The Forgotten Ones remained frozen.

⸻ 🌙 Azrael The Book of Origins suddenly opened. 📖✨ Its pages turned wildly. Thousands of years of history flashed across them. Ancient kingdoms. Dead civilizations. Lost worlds. 🌙 Then one page stopped. A page no one had ever seen before. ⚡ At the top was written: AZRAEL Beneath it: First Creation. First Betrayal. First Prisoner. 💀 The city fell silent. Even the wind stopped. ⸻ 🌙 The Forgotten Beginning

Chapter 21 As the fated mates took their first step towards the unknown, a distant rumble echoed through the air. The ground beneath them trembled, sending shockwaves of uncertainty through their beings. A tempest brewed on the horizon, dark clouds swirling in a sinister dance. Their eyes widened in alarm as a figure emerged from the storm, a figure they had never anticipated. It was a being of ancient power and malevolence, a harbinger of chaos and despair. The realm gasped in collective disbelief, for the figure was none other than Malachi himself, risen from the depths of oblivion.

I could smell the conflict. And in the serenity of daylight, an arrow flied with the wind. It traveled fast but I still caught the tiny fire starting to grow on its tip. It hit a man from the first comer. And what transpired next was a shock to me. He became ashes and his remains dematerialized as if he never existed! I fell back. My whole being trembled. Yet it didn't stop there. The battle started and I had to crawl myself out of the chaos.

Until finally, he stood in the center of the chapel ruins, panting, bleeding, surrounded by the bodies of beasts. And then silence. But not relief, no, something else was coming. Something worse, the earth cracked. The altar split in two, and from beneath it… a voice. “John Crowe.” It wasn’t the monsters, it wasn’t the priestess. It wasn’t even the curse, it was the original Alpha. The First, and he was rising. John staggered back as the altar cracked open, the stone groaning as if it were alive. Heat surged up from the abyss beneath it, a deep, pulsing warmth that smelled of ash and ancient blood. Sarah ran to his side, grabbing his arm before he could fall completely.
