Scarlet's POV I heard the door open and I knew that what I dreaded most was about to happen. I saw the shadow come nearer, walking slowly but still with calculated steps. I knew I had gone too far today but what else was I supposed to do? The shadow disappeared as the figure of the person came to light. It was the alpha. That only meant one thing. He started coming closer to me and all I could do was to pray to the moon goddess. I knew I should have kept my mouth shut but it was just too much for me to hold in.

Susan's POV The clouds are getting darker than I expected. It wasn't like this when I first walked in. I had to shut the windows to stop the breeze from penetrating my room. It's just a matter of time before it starts raining heavily. Should that happen, it might ruin my chances of going home first thing in the morning. I'm not a coffee drinker, but I lost sleep trying to cope with the chaos in my life. My life is starting to look like a movie. If it were on N*****x, it'd be the most-streamed series ever recorded in history.

Killian POV： I pulled out the certificate with trembling hands. The name was written in bold letters—Selena Blackmoor. Not Clara. Never Clara. My vision blurred. "Come in, Sarah. Close it behind you." I swallowed hard and stepped inside. "I am quitting, Mr. Blackwood. What happened last night was a mistake. A huge fucking mistake. Here is my letter." I tossed the paper on his desk. He did not even glance at it. Instead, he leaned back in his big leather chair and turned his computer screen toward me. My face went pale. There I was on the video, bent over his desk, screaming his name while he fucked me raw from behind. The sound was on. My own moans filled the room, loud and desperate.

White hairs had appeared at my father's temples at some point, and Alyssa, who had always seemed so distant and composed, had bloodshot eyes. The moment they saw that I was awake, they shot to their feet. They wore expressions I'd never seen before. Something almost ingratiating.

Their skin was pale grey, and their eyes, though different colors were both strange shades of yellow and pale blue. Noses were flat and chins pointed. Twenty-Nine had a shade of brown hair, whereas the other man had a shade of pale blond. Everything on them just looked dim. As if all their color had been washed out.
