Zoe stared at the book, her fingers hovering over its worn cover, tracing the cracks in the leather and the faint symbols etched into its spine. It felt… alive. Not in a way she could explain, but there was something ancient about it—something that pulsed beneath the surface, waiting to be uncovered. That night, Zach guarded Zelle right next to her room, and in his dream for that night was the memory he will never forget. It was a year after Zelle had just lost her memories. The book covers were made of old leather, rough around the edges but with golden engravings on it. Yumi's POV - “What book is that?” Henry asks, staring at the back of the book Zainab is reading across from him on the island. “Oh, this?” Zainab grins, turning the book around, “It’s a romance novel, ‘Paper Hearts’”. Zana rolls her eyes with a lazy groan, “That’s the twelfth time she’s reading it”. Henry chuckles humorously, “Stench fanatic”. I look between the three, busy filling my mouth with buttered popcorn. Henry would occasionally give me smoldering glances that often shake my body whole and the way his eyes would drag along the stretch of my lips…I couldn’t help the unstable heartbeat.

I took my book and I lit my index finger with fire and tried burning the book. "They got us there". Zale said and sighed getting his own book and tried to toss it in the ocean. I stopped my fire and stopped him. "Well, as we are back to square one, let's just try to gather information from the northern part," I said and smiled at him. I put my book inside my bag again. It was pointless anyway, to burn the book. It is the book of origin, a book written by the Gods, it is protected from being harmed by anything, by anyone.

The book is quite old, just like the information it promises to feed me.
