Abyss Watchers Weakness Novels & Stories

The silver eyes beneath the abyss did not blink. They simply watched. Ancient. Massive. Hungry. The entire throne chamber fell unnaturally silent as the gigantic presence continued rising slowly from the darkness below. Even the Devourers retreated from the abyss edge now, their skeletal bodies trembling while black mist curled violently through the cavern. Or maybe I already am because of this girl I've been seeing in my episodes. "Come with me!" she said. "Where are we going?" I asked. "Do you want to know the truth? Follow me!" she replied. She's not a ghost. Well, not that I know of. She seemed normal to me. She's petite. She has long, ebony-black hair and white complexion and her cheek's a little chubby. The most remarkable thing about her is her eyes. When you look at her deep, mysterious brown eyes, no matter how saddened you're with this fantasy, a sudden feeling of calmness takes over you.

I am feeling that my head has become very heavy and it's not letting me stand up or sit properly. I could see nothing properly but Kevin. Kevin asked, "Cristill, are you ok? Cristill?" I said, "I cannot keep my eyes open for a few seconds also. I slowly closed my eyes and I am not feeling well, Kevin. Please call someone for help, Kevin. Kevin asked, "Why will I call anyone else if I am there with you, Cristill? Tonight will be a very memorable night but you cannot enjoy it." I can feel someone is trying to touch me badly but who? I can't stop him as I cannot even open my eyes and me...

Abby watched her face carefully and nodded. “That’s what I thought.” She said. wrapping her hands around Elly’s freshly wrapped hand she closed her eyes. Elly watched as her aura began to brighten. It was interesting being around so many people with powers. All three of The Hughes had dim auras. They were washed out and muted to the point that they were almost nonexistent. The burning in her hand and arm intensified. There was an uncomfortable pulling in her forearm that made her cry out.

"Star-born power has two modes. Directed — which you control. And responsive — which responds to threat or emotion before you can think. The Watchers got the responsive version. Useful in a crisis. Unpredictable otherwise." "It feels like an ember usually," Aurora said. "Low and steady. When it fires out it feels like—" She searched for the word. "Like a held breath being released. Like I've been clenching something I didn't know I was clenching." "That's responsive," Lyra said. "Good for survival. Not good for what you're going to need

“You exercise your authority as a Supreme yet your authority isn’t yet born!” “Even if it was, who are you to take hold of a path that doesn’t belong to you?” “The Watchers are subservient to no one!” The voices of the Watchers boomed with anger. Finally, the aura that had been missing all this while filled this space, and Mane felt a terror that he had never felt before. If the giant at the entrance was an immovable boulder even for gods, the aura of the Watchers was like the only crane capable of moving that boulder. It was mighty and stifling. It robbed Mane of his vision and his ability to breath. Yet Mane smiled even under such conditions. Although he wheezed and struggled he still smil

Ash was still weak from the pain induced by the lashes and the scent from the leaves were still playing their effect on him and making his powers seem weak. Myan was terrified by the sight of two huge beasts standing by her sides and she had no idea what she could to stop them or if she would be heard but her instincts warned it would be wrong to so standing in the center, in case they had to move around. The soldiers stood at ease like they were statues and did not interfere. Ash held Frost’s hand and tried to shake it off but it was useless. "Don’t try it. Those leaves are so powerful and they will keep tearing you apart until you can no longer take it." He mocked, squeezing him tighter. H

It wanted to fall into place. I forced my breath steady, the way my mother taught me, the way you steady your hands before stitching a wound. Then I spoke the only words that had ever worked. “ASH.” Black cinders rose off the floor, spiraling around the circle. The runes flared, resisting, but the ash didn’t care. It tightened, thickened, becoming a wall—around Dax’s ankles, around the etched lines, smothering the glow. For one heartbeat, the pull on him eased.
