Akiro answered absent-mindedly, still distracted by his mate’s nakedness. It didn’t go unnoticed by the vampire, who reveled at the attention of his own mate and the way he became distracted by simply looking at it. So to fuel the fire, he slowly approached Akiro, who unconsciously backed away. “And what are you painting?” Heli slowly asked. “My g-gift for you.” Heli stopped in his tracks. He raised an eyebrow at his mate. ‘So he really did end up buying art as a gift for me.’ “And what’s that?” His voice turned dangerously low, the sound sending shivers down Akiro’s spine. He swallowed, then he slowly looked up to meet Heli’s ruby eyes.

Ace stated. "Yeah, let's let her to do what she wants for now." Acario agreed then sighed. Yuko glared at Aitan then yawned. He's wagging his tail while showing his nails just for him to make sure that he can protect his master from everything. •••• END OF CHAPTER 12. ••••

Jai tilted his head with an apologetic smile. “Ah! Sorry!” Ruta scratched his head nervously. “I forgot you’re not from here. Of course you don’t know them,” the boy smiled at him and counted with his finger. “Akaito Fujii. A prodigy from the Fujii clan. He has pale red hair and pretty, dark purple eyes. People like Akaito onii-chan a lot because he is very talented and creative, both in a fight or his achievement in the singing industry.” Jai listened intently to the boy.

The treehouse was a magical place, a world of possibilities where adventure could happen at any moment. As he sat there, focused on the sketching, Hibiki caught sight of his new friend, Tatsu, who sat across from him. Tatsu had dark brown hair and bright, inquisitive eyes, always asking questions about anything and everything. Hibiki smiled shyly as Tatsu leaned over to take a look at his drawing. “That looks so cool!” Tatsu whispered. “You’re gonna win the award for sure. It’s like something from a movie!” Hibiki grinned, a little bashful but pleased with the compliment. “You think so?”

I froze at the door, my pulse hammering. Rita. My children. Ashton. And none of them even realized how out of place this was. Ashton glanced up then, and his eyes caught mine. For a second, his expression was unreadable, caught between different emotions, like amusement, caution, and something softer. He looked back down at Kate’s drawing. It was crude, childlike, full of mismatched colors. But clear enough: five little figures, hand-in-hand. A woman with long hair. A tall man with broad shoulders.

and he slashes his knife at the attacker. The hand disappears into the darkness and chuckles are heard from the darkness. Yasuhiro walks back to Akihiko while saying- “Alright~ Here’s the update… This Akaname is quite the pervert and only targets women.” “… Then what felt me up?” “…Something felt you up you say?” “… It can’t be that something else exists in this room as well, right?” “Guess we’ll just have to see it with our own eyes.” He says and he lets go of his cigarette and It burns brightly lighting up the room.

Kade coughed tying to get the after taste out of his mouth. The man handed him a glass of cold liquid and he drank the glass of water and it worked. His headache was no more. "Thanks man." Kade said focusing his vision on a handsome, blonde, blue eyed sexy beast with a brush of stubble. "Hi, I'm Akito. Remember me?."

We’d have to hand in our masterpieces. We were asked by Mr. Atkins to express, in whatever form, the meaning of life…our lives. My art piece was a little bit dark and sad. It was a combination of colors and hues in an abstract form. Greens, violets, and oranges mixed beautifully on the canvas. Somewhere there was a tree, somewhere there was a boy standing at the end of a road. I liked to think it was Thomas. Waiting there for me. The only reason why I was able to move on. He was gone, but I lived. And I would keep on living for both of us. “Mr. Cross submitted his work earlier this week. He won’t be able to make it to class today,” Mr. Atkins announced.

The safe one. But I wasn’t going to let her ruin this. Not when what I had with Ace felt real in a way nothing else ever had. I opened my notebook and started to doodle instead. It was safer. Less pressure. I drew Ace, messy hair, crooked grin, broad shoulders, and gave him armor. Actual armor. A little cartoon version of him holding a fire hose like a sword. Above his head, I scribbled, “Rookie gato in shining armor.” It made me laugh, which helped.

V4 POV "..... Right. ....." I mumbled to Akari. V7's eyes turned dark red as he held his hands in prayer to his lips. He whispered something to his hand before lifting his forefingers and middle fingers to create a triangle. The triangle lit up in a purple flame and something was coming through it. Two rose petals as red as blood slowly drifts towards us, they suddenly lit up into a purple flame and flew towards me and Akari. Akari gave out a shocked sound as she moved backward in fear. The flaming petal stuck to my chest but I didn't feel its flame. At that moment, I saw V7 and Hikaru in a weird way, as if they were wearing red paint all over them, but I saw Sango as if she was wearing gree
